@northwestmodern -I do still work in Oregon šŸ˜‰ I was in Portland yesterday cutting and buffing the clear coat I applied to the sink on site a few weeks ago. Just admiring how this home came together. The way the patina on the brass hearth mirrors the living room furniture made my day; It really is the little things. @brittanyvenner_studio - I so admire your vision. Sure, you can mix metals together and create some really unique finishes. The bigger challenge is replication. If you add too much metal, you may have to compensate with too much water, and at some point you begin compromising the integrity of the coating. Creativity is important, but so is control. You need repeatable processes and an understanding of what can-and canā€™t-be mixed together. Knowing why something works is what allows you to reproduce it. They why is always more important than the how. by @verometalna
