The last sunset of this summer in Okinawa. 🌅
The sky slowly faded — first wrapped in soft golden light, then washed in honey, amber, and the shade of sun-warmed coral. With every passing minute, the light grew deeper, more intense, until the sun left behind one final streak of fire on the horizon.
I stood there watching, letting the moment simply linger.
Warmth on my skin. The sound of the ocean. The last light of summer.
Some places we leave behind with a suitcase.
And some we carry with us. 🧡

L’isola Zamami, seconda per estensione dell’arcipelago delle Kerama, riserva tanti luoghi da sogno: spiagge di sabbia bianca finissima lambite da acque cristalline, perfette per fare immersioni e praticare snorkeling, ma anche foreste lussureggianti che ricoprono le colline nell’entroterra, celando punti panoramici mozzafiato.
La straordinaria e limpida tonalità di blu (e turchese) che caratterizza le sue acque, la trasparenza e la vivacità eccezionale del mare, considerato tra i più puliti e limpidi al mondo, hanno inspirato il termine “Kerama Blue” che descrive appunto una particolare tonalità del colore blue.
