Our FRIENDS Teen Social Skills Program wrapped up another wonderful semester with a community outing to Starbucks! 🎉 What better way to celebrate than by putting everything they’ve learned into action in the real-world setting?! Our teens had the opportunity to practice important life and social skills, including: ☕ Independently ordering for themselves 💚 Making choices and expressing their preferences 🗣️ Practicing communication and social interactions 👏 Using appropriate manners and restaurant etiquette 👫 Building friendships and simply enjoying time together! These outings are about so much more than grabbing a drink. They’re about building confidence, encouraging independence, creating connections, and developing skills that carry over into everyday life! We are SO proud of this group and the incredible growth they’ve shown throughout the semester! 🥹💚 A special THANK YOU to Starbucks on County Line Road for being so welcoming, accommodating, and inclusive of our teens! Your kindness helps make these meaningful community experiences possible! 🌟 Have a teen who could benefit from building friendships, confidence, independence, and social skills? Registration for our next FRIENDS Teen Social Skills Program is OPEN NOW! Www.posabilityevents.life 📅 New semester begins Tuesday, October 27! Come be part of a program where friendships grow, independence is encouraged, and everyone belongs! 💚
