It’s very easy to fall out of your routine when a big life event happens.

As hard as you try to show up for yourself and your family, your body knows you are not whole. My nervous system knows it’s not really me here.

I’m not sure when I’ll fully show up again. Maybe I have to accept that I’m a new person now.

On May 23, 2026, a new chapter began for me. One without my father. One where I had to step up in an entirely new way for others

I don’t know when my nervous system will find its baseline again, but until it does, I’ll keep doing my best.

Some days that means remembering him and smiling instead of crying. Other days it means not eating foods that don’t serve me simply because they’re easier right now.

One thing that has never changed is knowing that Dad loved us, and we loved him.

Our baking mixes and recipes have honestly helped me through the stressful moments. When everything feels heavy, having something simple that supports my health instead of working against it is one less thing to think about.

Today, that looks like a proper lunch at home: a tuna fish sandwich on a ROSETTE’S Low Carb Bagel.

Over the past week, our family has been mourning the loss of our father. Thank you to everyone who reached out with prayers, kind words, and support. Every gesture meant more than you know.

One of the first things my dad would always ask me was, “How’s the business going?” He genuinely cared, celebrated every win, and encouraged us through every challenge.

As we navigate this loss, life continues, and so does the work we love. In many ways, returning here feels like honoring him.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and for being part of our extended family. We’re slowly finding our way back to our regular posts, recipes, and baking inspiration.

We took a little time this afternoon to step away from our responsibilities and connect, not as business partners, but as sisters.

Just sitting together, snacking, and celebrating Natalie’s birthday in a simple way that felt really good. And of course I baked a tray of peanut butter cookies to sweetly close out the afternoon.

PB&J Birthday Cookies 🥜🍓
• 1 Classic Yellow Cake Mix
• 3 eggs
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1 tbsp vanilla extract
• 1/4 cup avocado oil

Mix everything together, scoop using a large cookie scoop, and bake at 340°F for 18 minutes.
Let them cool, then drizzle with strawberry jam. We thinned ours with a little water to make it easier to drizzle.

Soft, a little nostalgic, and made for moments like this.

Life is rarely steady. Navigating the hills and valleys can be exhausting even when you have a village around you. When things get hard, sleep, exercise, and healthy eating are often the first things to fall apart. And getting back on track can feel even harder.

Taking care of yourself - mentally and physically - matters more than ever during those times. Show up for yourself, even in small ways.

And when you finally find steady ground again, don’t just rest there. Use it to prepare for the next uphill climb.

Love yourself through it. Be patient with the process. And whatever you do, don’t give up. ❤️

January is busy over here. With two kids under seven, having the right low carb and gluten-free mixes prepped and ready keeps me sane. l’Il also admit, I don’t naturally have a big sweet tooth, so the mixes I lean on tend to be more savory or just sweet enough…
