Our team traveled to Arizona this past weekend to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of @centralfabricatorsassociation! Wonderful event highlighting the success of the most prominent organization in the fabrication industry. Had an incredible time connecting with our friends, networking with our peers and learning from one another as we continue to push our industry forward!

One of the best reasons I could ever give to the benefits of rucking and walking is some lf the amazing places it can take you, but from a health standpoint alone here are some others.

Movement is medicine — and according to spine biomechanics experts walking is the most foundational movement your body needs for cardiovascular, joint, brain, and even kidney health. Rucking is a natural progression: add a hill, then add load through a weighted backpack, and you build resilience the body can actually use in daily life.
Here’s the counterintuitive part: a weighted rucksack can actually reduce strain on your lower back. The load pulls your spine into better alignment, acting almost like an extra muscle — which means less compressive stress on your lumbar discs than you might expect.
The catch: technique matters. Rucking while leaning forward or with poor habits can still stress the back, so posture and load management are key.
Bottom line: rucking is scalable, low-impact, and backed by real spine science — making it an ideal on-ramp for building durability without beating up your joints.

Building on spine health let’s talk mobility. We break our spine into mobile and stable segments.
Lumbar = Stable
Thoracic = Mobile
Cervical = Stable

So when we think about rotational movement it should be our thoracic spine that is moving and yes we need to work rotational movements but we want it to come from the right place.

Moving with the intent of speed which is not my strong suit. I have always been more of a locomotive athlete and great at endurance. Still at 44 years old the goal is to become more athletic, durable and improve speed and power.

Send me a message if you are over 40 and looking to build athleticism thru the rest of your life so you can play with your kids and feel good doing it!

Who was YOUR heart dog?

The hardest part about owning a dog, is they NEVER live long enough. They bring so much love and joy to our lives, that the void they leave when they cross the rainbow brings is an emptiness we never truly heal from.

Art became my passion purely by accident…

All children draw in their childhood… I just never stopped.

I never sought to win ribbons, have my artwork published, or even have a very successful career doing art… I just wanted to draw.

I just wanted to create.

Because it made me happy.

And when I noticed that showing my artwork to others made THEM happy… That feeling of bringing joy to others I through my art because so emotionally healing for me… Because the more I could bring happiness to others, the more happiness found its way into my life.

I am part of an amazing book that will be launching in September called The Trajectory Project @trajectoryglobal . It’s a collaboration of stories from other entrepreneurs and their journeys to success through trials and tribulations.

I’m overwhelmed with honor and gratitude to have this amazing opportunity and can’t wait to share my story with the world!

If you’re interested in having your own copy when punishing official launches, please comment below! And I will announce in the comments the day the book drops!

Thank you ALL for your love and support!

Then. And Now… Years of dedication and heard work… Teaching myself every step of the way.
•
No trail blazer.
No mentors.
No teachers.
•
Just me. My drive. And my desire to teach myself what I wanted to know, what I wanted to do… And doing it.
•
I’m often asked “how did you know you could eventually draw/tattoo like that?”… The answer is simple. I never believed I couldn’t.
•
We were all artists and creators in our childhood.
Drawing.
Play-doh sculpting.
Legos.
I’m just the kid that never stopped creating.
•
I’ll never have it all figured out. And hope I never do. Begging a forever student is the key to my evolution and growth.
•
Failure is my greatest teacher.
•
And I’m grateful to each and every client that values me, trusts me, believes in me, and drives me… to NEVER stop believing in myself.
•
If you make it this far, please drop “Tuesday” in the comments… I appreciate your support!

Helping Men Become Stronger will forever be something I take great pride in.

I have space for a few more in person and remote clients.

My mission is to help other men realize their potential—physically and mentally. Strength training becomes a metaphor for life. The discipline, perseverance, and resilience developed in the gym translate to every aspect of life.

I encourage fathers to involve their children in their fitness journey. Workouts can become family activities, teaching kids the importance of staying active and healthy. Moreover, showing children that their father is committed to self-improvement sets a powerful example.

Being a father and a strength coach are roles that complement each other beautifully. Both require patience, dedication, and a commitment to growth. By embracing these dual responsibilities, I strive to make a positive impact on my family and the men I coach.

Together, we build strength—not just in muscles, but in character. We become better fathers, better coaches, and ultimately, better men. And that, to me, is the true essence of strength.
