The blur that was August took a pause as September rolled in.

Spent a week in Florida with my little dude, his grandfather and some of my best friends.

We soaked up the sun. Played in the water. Ate lots of amazing food.

Jumped down to the Keys and gave Rogue the real Florida boy experience thanks to @willslice & @mommamorganxo

It was one of the most recharging weeks I’ve had in a long time.

Back in UT the colors rolled in and we spent some time rolling through the mountains.

Rogue got a new bike and spent a ton of time learning to balance/ride.

Caught a couple epic sunrises/sunsets.

Hung out with my guys @strengthinthesemountains & @hngata92

The travel was intense, it was all so worth it though.

Extremely grateful for this last month, the people we shared time with and the places we got to see.

August was a blur.

Spent most of it on the road - it was time very well spent.

Lots of walks, few good sunsets.

Couple solid blocks of days with Rogue. Just true quality time.

Different gyms almost every week.

2 concerts in 2 states.

Much needed time with friends I’ve known since childhood and their families.

Played with some rattlers, shipped out some big snakes.

Waffle House, always.

Took Rogue to the Worlds Largest Bounce House with his new buddy - watched him push his own limits and learn new things.

Tons of windshield time, some great views to go along with it.

Truly insane how fast this year is moving.

And yet - it’s becoming chock full of great memories with each month that passes.

July in Review.

Kicked it off by donating Valkyrie to @lovelandlivingplanet. Bittersweet moment - no question it was the best move for her.

Moved back to PC officially and got outside as much as possible. There’s no way to describe how grounded my soul feels in the mountains.

Had the most extended time with Rogue I’ve had in a year. Overnights, full days playing in the mountains, the pool, trips to see Valkyrie and a whole lot of trial and error with meals for him 😅

Still hitting the iron and working on bodyweight movements a lot more. Combining that with rucks and feeling really good physically.

Spent a weekend with my brothers @bob.olesen.92 and @robsirstins reconnecting with ourselves and each other 🙏🏻

Had a sweet piece made for Congressman Latta when he visited @hancockstructuralsteel

Soaked up as much cuddle time as possible with my little man 💙

July was a turning point and a hell of a launchpad for the remainder of 2026.

A weekend so good it needed its own post.

Lots of firsts - for both of us.

Happy Father’s Day to the man who’s seen me through every phase of life.

I understand you more and more as I gain experience being a Father myself.

Life doesn’t happen at a standstill.

It’s in a constant state of ebb and flow.

If you’re trying to figure it all out while standing in one place, you’re missing most of the pieces.

The greatest triumphs in life come from navigating the storm.

And you can’t navigate the storm from shore.

Navigating chaos is a skill.

Feeling at home in ambiguity is learned.

Neither is possible if you keep waiting for the path to be clear.

This is more a reminder to myself than anyone else.

Stay on the water. Find your peace in the storm.

The shore is nothing but a false sense of safety.
