A little update from behind the scenes.

We’ve been busy bringing Pici to life, and while there’s still plenty happening behind closed doors, we’re getting closer every day.

So many exciting things are coming together, and we can’t wait to finally share it all with you.

Not long now, famiglia. ❤️

At the heart of Pici is family

We want Pici to feel like the kind of place where the table fills up, another bottle gets opened, plates are passed around and nobody’s in a hurry to leave.

A space for long lunches, loud dinners, familiar faces and new traditions.

Not long now...

Will shares where the name Pici comes from, what it means to us, and how a simple Tuscan pasta helped inspire the bigger idea behind the restaurant.

And yes, you’ll find Pici on the menu with the flavours changing with the seasons, just as they should.

A little more about our name, our story, and what we’re bringing to New Farm.

Will takes us through Pici for the very first time, pre-construction and plenty of imagination required.

Where the bar will sit, where the kitchen comes to life, where long lunches will turn into late nights…

Consider this your official “before”. We can’t wait to show you the after.

Before we welcome you through the doors, we thought we’d introduce you to the people bringing PICI to life.

First up, meet Will, owner and Chef, with a few quick-fire questions (and maybe a couple of unexpected answers), here’s a little glimpse of the person behind the pasta.

As we get closer to opening, we’ll be sharing more of the people, stories and moments that make PICI what it is.

What should we ask Will next? Drop your questions below. ⬇️

Pici is a hand-rolled pasta from Tuscany. Thick, rustic, a little imperfect, and made with love, the kind of pasta that brings people together around a table.

When it came time to name the restaurant, we kept coming back to it.

It represents everything we wanted this place to be. Simple, welcoming, family-focused, and centred around good food shared with good company.

There will always be a pici dish on the menu.Just like the seasons, it’ll evolve throughout the year, showcasing different flavours, ingredients and inspirations from the kitchen.
