Captivating day exploring rooftop gardens in SF with @windowsofmeditation

We like to do fun stuff on each other’s birthdays.

We had to stop in John’s Grill (established 1908) because it’s like a museum. People go in just to sightsee all the time.

We went to the Crocker Galleria rooftop and then to 343 Sansome. We dilly dallied too much and got to One Kearney right after it had closed. But because Victoria had never been to the Salesforce Park, we went there.

Had a hoot of a day with the birthday girl @windowsofmeditation

We played (SF themed) miniature golf at @stagecoachgreens which is a guaranteed laugh fest. After having lunch, we went to Crane Cove and RH.

Love the lucky capture of the raven drinking out of the vase fountain on the rooftop garden of RH. It’s so pretty up there!

Went inside the cool old Union Iron Works building again! We NEED to have a skate party in there!! I’m gonna pursue it in earnest after my bday festivities next month. I’ll put those pics in a separate post.

It was SO hot today, which is why I have a fan in my hand. We San Franciscans melt when it hits 74 degrees! (I’m sure that sounds ridiculous to a lot of y’all:)

april schedule! spring is here and the tuesday night skate sessions are in full swing. we would love to see you out there! ❣️

our tuesday night sessions are for everyone to come and enjoy. it’s a place to build community, meet people and maybe learn a thing or two about skate/dance along the way. it’s about joy, connection and the love of skate. and it’s better when you come out and participate ✨

skillshares start at 7! we have lights at the park until 10

4/7 - backwards with annalise - pushed back a week due to rain

4/14 - belly dance with victoria - a professional dance teacher for years, victoria is excited to teach again and we are looking forward to learning new moves! this one will be off skates ✨

4/21 - line dance with barbara and kenny - two choreography specialists teaching intro line dance, going over choreo you’ll often see at 6th ave! 🩵

4/28 - roll bounce with bob - musicality & footwork 🎶

all skill levels welcome! BYO skates!

One of the first recorded videos of me teaching Side Steppin in Golden Gate Park with @windowsofmeditation. After creating this sequence of steps I starting teaching it to others in San Francisco’s own Golden Gate Park. This is one of the hardest combinations on skates today.
