This month began with the absolute joy of joining @codestheband for a gig at @rocketman.nz

We did a jazzy 3-part brass harmony version of March of the Cucks ✨

Me and @loxmynness' first time performing music together since primary school, and @wrenneso & I finally got to perform together 💖

THAT WAS THE BUSIEST WEEK OF MY LIFE
this might be my most excessively long post ever.

Thanks to @ladyhawkeforyou & @bigfan_nz for having me in the studio with 8 of the coolest queermusos I've ever met 💚

Finally having a release gig for @velveteenshakes' debut album was glorious 🪩

@jayp.mp3, @wrenneso & I are cooking something up with @codestheband, wild to jam with @loxmynness again for the first time since Grey Lynn Primary School band 🎺

Also I watched Blue Velvet and said it seemed like a comedy and then Una grimaced and all of the Lynchian things started happening

The album I'm making is nearly done! Here's some snippets and some polaroids 💚💖💜

Was late to my own radio show w. @wrenneso, saw my favourite trees w. @una.schenker, am drumming for @velveteenshakes, and have been playing lots of Slay the Spire II.

Next week I'm doing @ladyhawkeforyou's fancamp at @bigfan_nz and in 19 days I move house, someone bring me caffeine and mirthful fortitude.

Songs from the post:
1. WENCH
2. & WITCH
3. The End
4. collateral
5. The End
6. Virgo Moons
7. GOOSE
8. Swan Song (by @velveteenshakes)

Birthday Wench here, I'm 28 as of 9:15pm yesterday, and this morning @wrenneso and I found ourselves hosting @95bfm's Morning Glory.

I also (sorry film friends) am back on Polaroids, they're so dream-swathed and memory-like. Film looks good and crisp? What am I, a professional??

💚💖💜

Last week I walked a catwalk and then was a speaker on an @aucklandzinefest panel. The only way I'm usually comfortable on a stage is with a guitar in my hand and a song I've played a thousand times in my mouth. Life is strange. They should make a videogame about that or something.

It's @wrenneso's birthday tomorrow so shower her in praise!
It's my birthday next Monday so shower me in praise too plz 💕

Also @unavida.s is a very good artist and drew the most gender affirming image I've ever seen of myself wtf 😢

Shoutout to @thefilmlab.nz for developing the film ✌🏼
