Finally we have irrefutable evidence that I can stand around and wear clothes

Had the pleasure of modelling for @from_von's Matariki collection with @wrenneso!

Photos by @_summadixon & @_von_diesel_ (there's also some Polaroids by me) 📸

Also I have to say the hoodies are so cool and so comfy cozy that I haven't taken my yellow one off for like a week. Highly recommend!! by @wrenneso

One year ago I was awestruck by Bonita – a group composed of some of the best musicians I know – with their performance at WIJ's 1st anniversary. I'd never composed, nor played upright bass, and I'd never heard such dynamic music before; it was magical to be there. Miraculously, I was given the opportunity to perform with this year's Wave Infinity Junction, a collection in a league of their own. The space, kindness, and exposure of this group has been transformative, and playing lovely music like theirs is a treasure. It sometimes feels as if no time has passed since last year, but moments like this make it easier to stay present <3
(Check the last slide to hear some of my tune "Seaweed Gin")

Thanks so much to Fran, Naamah, Kat, Crystal, Minju, Jenna, Wynnie, and Max!! (and Yuriko for wicked photos!) taken in Auckland, New Zealand by @wrenneso
