Episode 5 | My Biggest Supporters I love my friends + family! There’s a viral trending sound that says your social media is only for the “new friends” or people you don’t know yet + looking for what you contribute to the world. But, my real-life friends + family support my social media, too! Thank you for the idea, @gbabyy_773! I soo appreciate the way you always engage + encourage me! If you’d like to share my personalized flier, let me know + I’ll share it with the @vote.tophost link! Again, thanks for everyone who voted thus far. Episode 4 | Unrelenting Faith The word 'unrelenting' means "extremely determined, never weakening, or continuing without stopping; unwavering determination." Coupled with the function of faith, unrelenting faith is a stance, an action of courage + the ability to never stop believing that you are capable of seeing the dreams that God has placed on your heart! Of course, there have been times when I have been scared + my faith was lacking or times when I didn't have any faith at all. But, I decided a long time ago that I didn't want to live in a lack mindset. Now, I have many goals + dreams that God has placed within me! And, I can see the end goal of each one of them every time I close my eyes. Sure doubt may come, but then I come back to my senses 😆... Y'all know I believe that what God has for me is set aside just for me. That's just how my faith works! It's unrelenting in that way. As I compete to become the next Top Host (@vote.tophost) with @iheartradio + @ryanseacrest, I see myself sitting across from this man having the BEST conversation. I see myself creating a series of beautifully-themed conversations + chats with five people whose stories simply have to be shared with the world! If you can see me doing this, too, take a second to vote for me to move to the next round of the competition! My profile voting page is linked in my bio! Again, thanks for everyone who voted thus far. I moved from no. 16 (out of 35) to no. 5 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾💕✨ and I could not be more honored that you all believe in ya girl the way that you do! Love yall! —Sincerely, Tyra 💕✨ #sincerelytyra #podcast #iheartradio #fyp #explore

Episode 3 | My Top 3 Fave Podcasting Moments When I look back at my fave moments hosting podcasts in the past, I realized how blessed I am to have so many to choose from. Anyhoo, I’d love the chance to host + the creative director of FIVE completely new podcast episodes with @iheartradio + @ryanseacrest’s support. If I win this @vote.tophost contest, I can do that + maybe earn a lil coin, too! Again, thanks for everyone who voted thus far. Episode 1 | How I Started Podcasting When my friend, sista, the entrepreneurial mind that is @msjackie112 Jackie Eadie invited me to co-host a podcast with her, I had no idea where it would lead us. But, I trusted her vision + knew we would have fun along the way! Back then, we hosted an array of podcasts guests—or people who we like to call—Content Experts to talk about youth + violence across Chicago, empowering Black youth, the low numbers of Black male teachers in Black neighborhoods, and so much more! Y’all know I value those conversations + the time we shared with our special guests—and the candidness shared between my co-host and I! (Jackie and I are a lil crazy sometimes lol) So, I just wanted to share a quick thank you to her + God for placing me in the room with her! And, thanks to everyone who has responded to my texts + initial Facebook post about the @iheartradio TopHost competition with ya boy, @ryanseacrest! Sidebar: I grew up watching American Idol! And to see him on me + grandma’s fave game show now is so dope! (He hosts @wheeloffortune if you’ve been living under a rock 😆). Anyhoo, I’d love the chance to host + the creative director of FIVE completely new podcast episodes. If I win this contest, I can do that + maybe earn a lil coin, too! Again, thanks for everyone who voted thus far. I moved from no. 16 (out of 35) to no. 4 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾💕✨ and I could not be more honored that you all believe in ya girl the way that you do! We can’t wait to until the next YDWW Chicago episode drops! @msjackie112 + @sincerelytyra are going catch up on all things Chicago education, youth + opportunity! Until then, check out the “Lead with Grace” episode on your fave #podcast streaming platform or saved in the @ydwwchicago December 2022 #reels. If leading with grace has taught our CEO, TyraShange, anything, it’s that LEADERSHIP IS SELF-CONTROL first + foremost. It’s a concept that she coined as a self-reminder to start conversations + interactions from a place of grace in hopes that others would follow suit + adjust their own leadership styles. Are you’re a good leader? cc: @ebonysunchi #SincerelyTyra #SlayTheDream #EbonySunCHI #ydwwchicago #WhenQueensLink #chicago #blackhistorymonth #blackchicagogirl #blackgirltiktok #smallbusiness #fyp #explore #explorepage #reels #reelsinstagram #chicago

Strongly believe this is the reward of loving #parenting. Praise as a response to instilling self-worth + the reminder of WHOSE child you are. If the parent builds a throne for a child, they eventually learn how to do it for themselves + others. For more conversations like this subscribe to @ydwwchicago on your fave #podcast streaming app!
