5 FAVORITE SNOWBOARDING IMAGES… …of my career!!! Where my snowboard peeps at!!!! I have shot snow more than anything else in my career and a lot of that was skiing. But, what a lot of people don’t know is I snowboard way more than I ski!!! First image: Tordrillo Mountains of Alaska This is my friend Liz, may she rest in peace!!!! I met Liz on this trip in the airport in Anchorage, AK and then spent the next two weeks living on a glacier and touring with her. The glacier makes quick bonds and I hurt bad when she past the following summer. So this is my fav pic of Liz, I still miss her! Forrest and I met in South America and realized we both lived in Utah and became friends quickly! This shot in the local hills of the Wasatch is my favorite pic of Forrest! Another glacier bond here! Marie and I also met in Anchorage and headed off into Alaska’s mountains on an adventure! This shot is so simple in its elements and that is why I love it sooo much!!! More Utah Powder!!! The joy of snowboard is so apparent in this image!! Who wouldn’t have a smile on their face if they were in this photo!!!

From Mt. Hood to the redwoods — after five years in Portland, Oregon we’ve relocated our US roasting operations down the coast to Oakland, California. 少し前ですが、日本に滞在していたファウンダーの Alex @yoderyoder と瀬戸田で合流して、海沿いを散歩したり、焙煎所を見学したり、一緒にご飯を食べながら、それぞれの近況を共有しました。 アメリカと比べて日本はリジェネラティブ・オーガニックの素材調達がまだまだ限られていますが、日本チームも着実に進んでいて今現在ではコロンビアのTolima MULTI COOPと、ペルーのCECANORをリジェネラティブ・オーガニック認証（ROC）を取得したコーヒーとして販売しています。夏には新たにブラジルのROCコーヒーをリリースする予定です。 基本的にはROCの調達率を高めていくことを目標としていますが、同時に認証はないけれどリジェネラティブな農業を実践し、土地や品種、作り手の魅力が表現できるコーヒーを飲み手にお届けしていくことにも力をいれていて、これからいくつかユニークなコーヒーをお披露目する準備をしています。 Overview Coffeeでは環境によく美味しいコーヒーを基軸に、「生産者さんと継続的な取り組みをすること」と「パートナーのカフェや、お客様、コーヒー好きとコーヒーの魅力を分かち合うこと」を大切に時間をかけて取り組んでいきます。 瀬戸田で共にした時間はお互いにとって貴重な機会になりました🦦🦦 Photo: @max_houtzager
