Coming soon to a Congress Street near you: Ope! A Stationery Shop

We’ll be a neighborhood spot for letter writing, scrapbooking, and journaling.

Ope is for folks who appreciate perfectly imperfect handmade gifts, who find value in taking the time to do something by hand. Folks who collect stickers everywhere they travel and document their lives in a scrapbook. If you rely on good ol’ pen and paper, keep a backstock of greeting cards for any occasion, and are pen-pals with your long-distance friends – Ope is for you!

Along with the stationery we’ll carry, we’ll have two big work tables. We’ll be filling our calendar with workshops and classes, and filling our shop with the laughter and joy of people sharing crafts together.

it’s a very scary time outside the walls of our little apartment. a brief reprieve to fill our home with some laughter, a metric ton of cream cheese, and the warmth of community means so, so much to me. i can always use the reminder — that there is light in the world, that it’s in people
