This Friday, we’re back baby!

The weather is perfectly crisp, wonderfully blustery, that fabulous fall breeze in the air that makes you wanna pull your collar into your neck and put on your best leather jacket.

So purge those closets and make some room for some new cold weather ware, cause it’s time for another clothing swap!

Here’s the gist - bring all your unwanted clothing and accessories in good, CLEAN condition. We’ll make a big ol pile and dig through. Take what works, leave behind what doesn’t, and the leftovers will get donated to organizations across RI. Don’t have clothes to bring? No problem! There’s plenty for everyone.

Some snacks and beverages provided but byob or snack contributions always welcome and appreciated.

All identities, body types, styles welcome. Bring a friend or crew, but kind and supportive vibes only. No disrespectful or greedy behavior tolerated.

In the blink that was September I somehow forgot to share these lovely shots of the last @pvdlemonadestand of the season. All shot by the very talented @gaydragongeek

I’m a cold weather kinda gal through and through, but this season of outdoor markets was such fun. Lounging in the grass, live music, new friends, enjoying those occasionally perfect New England summer days.

I really was feeling the color pink this summer too! I’ve always thought of Siren & Saint as a moody, autumnal, dark colored kinda identity but hey, maybe in the very spirit of containing multitudes and dualities that SSV was founded on, the color palette and branding of SSV should be seasonal and changing as well? Sunny spring and summer days feel like rosy pink and vibrant green to me.

While I’ll miss cold crispy drinks in the sunshine, I am OH SO ready for spiced spiked toddies by the firepit, cozying up the halls of @rauschhauspvd with vendors and live music while the cold rages outside. There is a beautiful magic to indoor markets too, seducing friends and strangers to leave their homes for cozy community.

So until we’re back in the sunshine of @pvdlemonadestand or @swellfolkfestival or the @rauschhauspvd backyard, let’s find (and make!) the occasions to gather and support and exchange in the cold months ahead 💙

Another LCT in the books and at this point idk if I’ll ever not get the blues when each one ends. What a truly special event, never ceasing to amaze me with the quality of humans that are a part of it.

New friends that feel like old friends, shoppers that feel like family, internet friends that become irl friends, spending money on clothes that doesn’t feel shameful. And my god a beautiful fucking collection of clothing.

Thank you @ampersandcreativecompany for creating such a beautiful environment, one where sales seem almost secondary because it’s just such a good time. Y’all are responsible for connecting me with some of my now dearest friends.

Highlights: I sold my two favorite coats, my hand-dyed pieces were a big hit, I scored absurdly cool nighties and slips to add to my collection, became best buds with @rustedanchorantiques who bought this beast of a family heirloom ring from me (and gave me the greatest, most me pendant I’ve ever seen, not pictured), getting to the afterparty early enough for free food

Extra special shoutout to my darling, new best friend @redrabbitbazaar — we met in the parking of the March LCT cause I stopped her to compliment her van. Then this past weekend she stayed at my house and we had the most magical & connecting hangs. What an exceptional person you are, radiating such joy and love. Sunday morning sofa cuddle therapy pre-LCT is now a core memory. Not to mention this killer 70s leather trench I snatched from you 🥰

Cheers to great neighbors and the new friendships that all derive from our silly little loves for funky clothes and old shit.
See you cuties at the next @littlecitythrifty 💙

End of summer memories and GMG⛰️💭

Thank you to everyone who came to my Vermont oasis ✨ Green Mountain Gathering is my favorite part of every summer. I can’t wait to be back with yall next year (10 yr!)
After GMG, Connor and I moved apartments and flew to a wedding! It’s been a hectic month and I can’t wait to get much needed cozy time 🍂

I’ll be playing this Sunday (Sept. 20) at Swell folk festival on the East side of Providence at 2:10!!

The magic of friend-making in providence 💙

I enjoy these photos for a lot of reasons. They were taken this past Saturday @pvdlemonadestand when @gaydragongeek came around the booth and started snapping some candids. (I’m never one to turn down a photo opp 😛) They hung out at the tent for a bit, sitting in the grass and conversing with the various folks who had settled in the shade with us. The talking all came naturally, easily.

But what I was most taken by after seeing these photos (besides their beautiful composition and lighting), was the magic and confluence of random moments and meetings that converged to make these photos happen :

There’s @abbywrightart who I met through a market at my haus, though she had seen me speak at @pechakuchapvd only just before. And in the months since our meeting has become my dear, fellow Aquarian close friend.

Then there’s @thewickedwitchoftheworms who, for a while, I knew solely through a game of D&D I was not participating in, and who is now one of my closest confidantes (and creative genius of all my wacky costume pieces and ideas).

And there’s another Abby seen here, who despite not knowing super well, I forged a beautiful connection to her and her partner at my NYE party this year, & who I seem to run into at beautiful and unexpected moments. I met them, in turn from Laina, who is one of the hosts of Lemonade Stand and invited me to be part of it in the first place…

And on and on it goes.

I know this is how most connections and friendships are founded in life, through a serious of complicated networks and moments. But getting to visualize them, to look on pictures of moments and reflect on just how many twists and turns of the road it took to get there is, well, overwhelming to say the least.

I’m really so grateful for this little city. For the ability to experience such a diverse and wide-reaching community of individuals. To remember that even when the lack of anonymity is exhausting, that there is so much beauty and gratitude to be found in the intertwining spiderwebs of communities.

Ornamenta piece full of meaning🌸

This tattoo was design specifically for my client to cover up some empty spaces on her leg. It is Inspired in natural flow of plants and norse knots. Vikings and Celts use to find inspiration in nature to decorate and give meaning to their houses, arms, clothes, ships, jewelry... As them, I feel so amazed by nature and like to honor it in my designs.🍃🙏🏻

Had tons of fun at the late chunk of @zzombrie 33 1/3 birthday. Warm community event where I debuted my piece about a freedom loving Goddess. So thankful to the amazing crew and friendly civilians who made it fun. I got an invite to the exotic kingdom of Fox Point. Sundays are the Sun's day. $20 Suggested Donation

Taino Treats will be onsite and cooking up your favorite empanada's and those tasty yuca fries.

The Raffle tables will be full of some cool prizes donated from local artists and vendors.

Every Year since we started, we have been able to support and contribute to school music programs and school age/young adults in purchasing music equipment.

Come show your support for our music and artist community and cheer on all of these great bands, purchase a one-of-a-kind art piece or a fun TREAT. Everyone involved donates their time, music and art to put on one hell of a show to help us raise money for The Mike Schiavone Non-Profit Organization.
