I broke my foot on the last day of 2025... & it became the reason this brand exists. šŸ’œ Iā€™m Tami, & for the past years Iā€™ve lived in full sprint mode: a corpo job, building my first company, stressfully running late to yoga... the fracture forced my first real pause. & in that pause, I noticed a paradox so many of us live in: weā€™re chasing the slow moments while living in a constant rush. my delightful journey <3 my whole life iā€™ve been running. from one place to the next, chasing productivity & convinced I was enjoying it, but never really there. at the start of this year I started learning about the art of slowing down (Iā€™m even building a brand around it - with a product that invites people to pause & connect). & hereā€™s the thing i keep finding: in the rush of daily life, remembering to pause & notice the small delights feels like a luxury we sometimes canā€™t afford. yet it brings sooo much value. a few weeks ago i took my first beach vacation in years. & I found delight in doing absolutely nothing. sitting on the sand with my close cousin. watching her swim. looking at a landscape that wasnā€™t asking anything from me. turning my mind off. I got so into it that I bought a book about delight. & now iā€™ve started my own notebook around it: microdosing delight every night before bed, writing down the magic iā€™m still so lucky to live. it can be a beach day. but mostly itā€™s in the really little things: that sunray on my face cycling to work. a good conversation. a matcha in the sun. i even find delight in thinking about delight. turns out delight is always there. i just have to be present enough to see it <3 & when i notice it, my whole energy & mood changes. itā€™s like a nervous system reset after a day spent in a rush. for sure a practice i want to keep exploring. what was your delight today? taken in Sicily, Italy by @tamidere
