He is risen! I'm so grateful for this season to worship my Savior and remember all He has done for me.

We had a fantastic Easter week: we saw Lamb of God last Sunday, and this week, we got to see Hugh perform in Messiah in America. It was so powerful! It was our first experience with MCO, and I spent a few days volunteering backstage with the kids as well. Today, we helped with an Easter service at the retirement community in our neighborhood. We sang "Gethsemane" as a family and Grant gave a fantastic, heartfelt message.

First day of school for ALL THREE brothers! Will 7th, Hugh 4th, and Clark K.

This summer marked 13 years of being parents and 13 years until the baby becomes an adult. Halfway somehow!

Day two: Atlanta!

We had a great lunch at EATS, a classic "meat and three" restaurant. We had the jerk Chicken ($6.50 for half a chicken!), mac and cheese, collards, and corn bread. The seasoning on the chicken was stellar, and I was impressed with the collard greens, which aren't something we normally eat.

We visited the MLK National Monument which was very powerful. We sat in the Ebenezer Baptist Church where MLK's father and grandfather were pastors, and also where his mother was shot and killed in 1974. The reality of the segregated south hits home here in a way reading books can't quite achieve.

After checking in to our hotel in Buckhead, we grabbed a quick dinner at NaanStop, a counter service Indian restaurant. We picked it because it was quick and close by, but we were pleasantly surprised- it was delicious! We had Chicken Tikka Masala, Gobi, Dal and Garlic Naan. It was all great, although I wasn't strong enough to add the spicy chutneys and sauces 😂.

Now we're back at the hotel for Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals!! On to Nashville tomorrow where we have big 🎵musical plans! taken in Atlanta, Georgia by @tanner_projects

There is SO much of our 3 month long Florida trip that I haven't posted yet. Honestly, we went so hard, it was difficult to keep up.

But the trip is officially over! Grant and the boys flew home to Boise, and my dad came out to help me drive home. It's the Father Daughter Food Road Trip 2024!

Our first stop was Savannah. We wanted to do seafood since it's our only stop along the coast. We had the Seafood Boil and the Love Shack at Savannah Seafood Shack. They do individually bagged seafood boils and we had heard great things.

It was excellent. I even ate my first crawfish! It was awkward and messy and very tasty. We are not yet bold enough to slurp the crawfish head juices... Maybe next trip 😂

We really enjoyed walking along the river, and especially visiting the JW Marriott. We saw incredible art installations, gigantic agate statues, and my dad's favorite, a huge Gretsch guitar display.

We had an awesome day at Kelly Park. We rode tubes down the natural spring, Will went treasure diving, saw fish and otters, and we had fun swimming as the boys practiced standing on the tubes.

The water was incredible. Perfectly clear and chilly, but not too cold (65 degrees), which was just right for a humid day over 90 degrees in Florida.

We have less than three weeks left in Florida. The bucket list will never be complete! by @tanner_projects

I am loving my new job as a travel planner. I help clients with trips to Disney, Universal, Sea World, and various cruise lines.

Now that I'll have all three kids in school (whaaa?!), it's the perfect time to start helping other families plan awesome vacations as well.

There was a Travel Agent Appreciation Station at Animal Kingdom and I got these "little beauties." I haven't had a pair since I was a kid, so I got them embroidered with my name.

Our beach week in Bonita Springs has had a little bit of everything: Sandy beaches and shells, swimming, touring the Edison and Ford Winter Estates, picking out fancy cars in Naples, and lots of puking.

It has run through everyone but me so far, hence the YouTube and lots of movies.

It's just about right for this trip. It's kind of vacation, but it's kind of normal life. We go exploring, and we do homeschool. There are theme park rides and there is laundry. And apparently, there are stomach bugs as well.

Tomorrow we head back to Orlando for the rest of the trip. The last time we made this drive (in 2021), Grant was dealing with appendicitis. I guess the flu is an improvement... 😂 taken in Big Hickory Beach by @tanner_projects

When Grumsi came to visit, we went to Discovery Cove! Holy cow, that place is amazing. We swam with dolphins, the boys enjoyed endless ICEEs and "yellow chips," and we spent a good part of the day snorkeling in the Grand Reef. It was absolutely magical, and somehow I don't have a picture of Grumsi with the boys!
