@bobtregoning gets emotional when reflecting on working with his husband @billycullum
creating @thatwitchmusical 🧙‍♀️

Describing the musical, Robert said “It’s really rooted in all of the shows and movies that we loved growing up in the 90s and noughties. Billy was a huge fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and we both loved anything supernatural, magical, witchy, and also high school drama, films like Mean Girls and Bring It On played a big part in the inspiration too.”

See That Witch! at @theotherpalace as part of @mtfestuk from 6-8 February. Listen to the full interview on Queerly's Stage and Screen Podcast 🎧 by @thatwitchmusical

THAT WITCH is a meta musical, presented as a performance by the fictitious Sunny High Drama Club, and promises bewitching high school drama, magical mystery and the sense of empowerment that comes from embracing who you are.

‘It’s like Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Mean Girls are on a three-way call with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, while listening to a pop girlie like Taylor Swift!’

Presented as part of @mtfestuk 2026!
