Hi, there! I'm over the 79 recognized moons of Jupiter to have my second collection of poems, VIRGA, published by @tupelopress in December 2027 !!! Your man over here's been working on it (and two new records as well) for a few years, and I'm excited to get it/them in your orbit this coming year.

I'd love to come visit you where you be and read some poems and play some songs and meet your students. DM me for such adventures. Keep ya posted here on all things VIRGA. Love and care to you,
Cam

Grateful to Paul and Megan @poetryireland for welcoming @colincriss and I at the PIR offices and giving us each a copy of Issue #146, fall '25. A dream to have a poem (two from Colin!!) in here, with many thanks to guest editor Stephen Sexton.

This elegy, Slow, was written for my friend and long-time collaborator and bandmate @getmcmahon who loved Ireland and whose family has roots here. Feels right to have it first published in PIR. 🖤

The poem will appear in my second book, VIRGA, which is forthcoming from the good folks @tupelopress in spring '28!! A good day with good folks in a good place. Xoxo Cam taken in Dublin, Ireland by @the_widow_cameron

On this, Ireland's National Poetry Day, lovely, moving, and educational morning with Yvonne Corcoran Loftus @jackieclarkecollection & Museum of Irish History in Ballina, Co. Mayo. Selections of the Clarke's collection of over 100,000 Irish artifacts and papers dating back centuries. A must see if you are in the West. Thank you, Yvonne, and Martin Dyar for the recommendation!!

Any peoples in the small corners of the universe who've ever cared, even briefly, about the music I've made, I implore you to listen to the new album Heroic Dose from Daniel Johnson's project @patois_music . He is one of my favorite songwriters, and he produced my last album The Widow Cameron. You're welcome.

Hello loves. Very grateful to the @wazzuenglish department Thompson Summer Research program for supporting my work on the next book of poems. I'll be heading to the Federico García Lorca Centre centrofgl in Granada this summer!! 🤯🖤🤓 Beyond excited to spend time in the archives & library and work on the poems and the songs.

This journey began a few years ago as I was finishing work on @the_widow_cameron album and starting work on my second book VIRGA, which is forthcoming from @tupelopress in '28. Lorca's collected reset my hamster image brain and encouraged more of a slippery connection btw the poems and songs. Elements elements! Xoxo cam taken in WSU Pullman by @the_widow_cameron

Alright, Ottawa, I see you. Lovely and restorative week at the @cahh_acshs Creating Space 16 Health Humanities conference @ottawaartgallery Lots of brilliant doctors, nurses, teachers, poets and artists in dialogue about patient and clinician self care thru the arts.

So much to learn, but excited to begin work on a Poetry and Health Humanities course for WSU pre med/vet/nursing students. Gratitude for the warm welcome and for letting me near a canvas to try a self-portrait @cahh_acshs 🙏🤣🖤. Looking forward to next year! taken in Ottawa, Ontario by @the_widow_cameron
