Dismissed twice. Rejected countless times. Still, I never gave up.

I can’t lie… it was HARD filming this episode, and even harder for me to post it. ❤️‍🩹

I apologize for the delay. I posted this video late last night, but honestly, I needed time to process the vulnerability that came with sharing this part of my story.

In this episode, you’re seeing me at what was truly the lowest point of my PT journey. I was scared. I was hurt. I was uncertain about my future. And I had no idea how my story was going to end.

But now, looking back, this episode is also a reminder of HOW FAR I’VE COME. 🥹

The same person who was once dismissed from PT school…
The same person who had to fight to be readmitted…
The same person who questioned whether she would ever become a physical therapist…

became Dr. Bria J. 🎓✨

I’m sharing this not because it’s easy to relive, but because I know someone out there is currently sitting in their own lowest moment, wondering if their dream is over.

I pray this episode finds you at the right time and reminds you that dismissal does not have to be the end of your story.

Sometimes the chapter you’re ashamed to talk about becomes the chapter that gives someone else hope. ❤️‍🩹

Before I was Dr. Bria J, I was just an undergraduate at Northern Illinois University trying to figure out what path I wanted to take. 🎓

I declared my major as Pre-PT, not knowing just how much of a rollercoaster this journey would become. 🎢

What I thought would be a gap year turned into gap years.

There were applications, 20+ rejections, setbacks, and eventually my first acceptance into PT school… followed by dismissal.

But looking back, every twist and turn was part of the story.

This is where it all started. ❤️
