Due to illness in my immediate family, I have had to make the difficult decision to cancel my debut as Carmen at @denjyskeopera.

The wonderful @yanakleyn is jumping in, and I know she will be extraordinary in the role.
I hope you will all look forward to experiencing this beautiful production — I have no doubt it will be amazing. ❤️

Last night was a very special evening, as it was my last day at @operaen_ (for now…). It was spent making music with my four beloved colleagues from WOYS and the Norwegian National Opera Orchestra under the baton of @edwardgardner_official. Five composers were commissioned to compose an aria for each of us. I feel incredibly lucky to have been working with @maja_s_k_ratkje , who composed the most amazing, crazy, and beautiful “mini-opera” that I had so much fun performing!

I can’t even begin to explain what these two years in Oslo have meant to me. I want to say the biggest thank you to everyone at the opera. You are the kindest and loveliest people, and you have made my workplace feel like home. I can’t wait to see you again! ❤️

🎶 Komponistene: Henrik Hellstenius, Maja S. K. Ratkje, Ørjan Matre, Rolf Gupta, Anna Berg

🎶 Sangerne: Sandra Bendrik, sopran (Sverige), Laura Mayer, mezzosopran (Danmark), Markus Bjørlykke, tenor (Norge), Rory Green, baryton (Storbritannia/Irland) og Johannes Nikolai Aas, bass (Norge)

Fem sangere. Fem komponister. Fem helt nye arier!

Had an absolute blast premiering the 2nd Lady in Barrie Kosky’s production of The Magic Flute. This production is very special, with so many people behind the scenes who make it all come together. It’s been a pleasure working with director @estebanmunozherrera, conductors @aagermeyer & @kristiinaposka, the cast on and off stage and all of the wonderful musicians in the orchestra. Toi toi toi to my colleagues premiering today! ❤️
