A new season is on the horizon. Last year was about proving the vision. This year is about deepening it. From storytelling and live music to artist workshops, cultural conversations, exhibitions, and unexpected gatherings, the 2026-2027 season at the MUSE•eum is an invitation to slow down, create, connect, and remember what community feels like. If you’ve been looking for a place where art, culture, and people come first, welcome. We’re saving you a seat. Stay close. Tickets, open calls, workshops, and new experiences begin rolling out soon. What experience are you most excited to see this season? #centeredphx #weproduceculture #phxhbcuconnex #themuseeum by @themuse.eum
“Where you from?” “No, where you FROM from?” 👀 We’ve all heard it. But I’ve got a better question… 🎶 If you could play ONE song that tells us where you’re from, what would it be - and why? I’m building a playlist AND looking for musicians who want to bring their stories to the stage! Introducing WHERE YOU FROM? 🌍 A new live music series connecting the storytelling, community, and cultural discovery I’ve been building through The MUSE•eum, Centered.PHX, and We Produce Culture with my newest chapter at Sofar Sounds Phoenix. 📍 First stop: Phoenix. The vision: Global. 🎤 MUSICIANS: All genres and musical traditions welcome! DM “WHERE YOU FROM” to express interest in performing. 🎧 MUSIC LOVERS: Drop your song and hometown in the comments. Tag a musician whose story deserves to be heard! Let’s see how many places we can travel through music before the first show. 🌎 #SofarSounds #SofarPhoenix #PhoenixMusic #downtownphoenix #GlobalSounds by @themuse.eum
I took the light rail to Tempe to watch pitch practice with PHXFWD. (@phx_fwd) I wasn’t pitching, but I was getting my reps in. Listening to how people explained their ideas, the questions they were asked, and what made their message clear. Spending time in these tech spaces is helping me build confidence in We Produce Culture and how I talk about it. Sometimes getting your reps in means putting yourself somewhere new where you can learn. What room is helping you grow? #phxfwd #techdevelopment #founder #az #weproduceculture by @themuse.eum
“How do you do it all?” I don’t always know what “all” looks like from the outside. But I know my ideas need more than my enthusiasm. They need my time. Love what you do enough to organize yourself around it. Give the dream actual hours. Do the uncomfortable thing. Get your reps in. Leave room for a life you enjoy living, too. And when rejection happens, learn what you can without letting “no” become your name. Plan the work. Work the plan. Make adjustments. Save this for your next planning session. Need help turning your idea into a workable plan? DM “PLAN” to ask about a paid strategy session. #beyourownmuse #themuseeum #events #cultureproducer #weproduceculture by @themuse.eum
How do you make a city feel like yours? For me, it starts with curiosity. Taking a different street. Looking up. Walking into a place I’ve passed a hundred times. When I moved to Phoenix, a poetry open mic introduced me to people who helped this city feel like home. Now, as a cultural producer, I’m interested in creating more of those introductions. That’s part of why I’m building We Produce Culture. Because living here and feeling connected here can be two different experiences. What place made Phoenix feel like yours? #beyourownmuse #phoenixaz #phx #downtownphx #weproduceculture by @themuse.eum

When the city calls, I answer. 📞✨ I’ve lived in Phoenix long enough to know there’s always something new to discover. And as someone who produces cultural experiences for a living, I’m just as interested in experiencing what other people are creating. So when Denū called, I answered. A little downtown staycation, a little local discovery, and a reminder that you don’t have to leave your city to experience something new. Because culture isn’t just what we produce. It’s what we participate in. Stay tuned. We’re taking this experience beyond the hotel walls. 📍 Denū | Downtown Phoenix @denuhotel #WeProduceCulture #WhereTheLocalsGo #DowntownPhoenix #PhoenixStaycation #ExperiencePhoenix by @themuse.eum

I don’t live in the past or the present. I’m always 5-10 years ahead of my time… every time. 💅🏾 From creating spaces for Black storytelling to reimagining how people experience art, culture, community, and even public transit, my work has always been about building what I see before it exists. One of the hardest lessons of being a visionary is learning that not everyone can see what you see, and you can exhaust yourself trying to make them. I’ve found peace in no longer needing people to understand the vision before I bring it to life. My job is to imagine it, build it, and live it. Not convince everybody it’s possible. They’ll catch up. They always do. 💅🏾 #beyourownmuse by @themuse.eum
Your life has more than one genre. I want room for the stories where we laugh, feel beautiful, change our minds, and realize we’re enjoying being ourselves. What’s a small moment you still remember because it changed something? Save this for your next story draft. YourStoryMatters #TheArtOfStorytelling #BlackStorytelling #CenteredPHX by @themuse.eum

🗣️ARE YOU READY! 🖤 THIS FRIDAY: VILLAIN ORIGIN STORIES Friday, October 23 | Phoenix Center for the Arts Centered.PHX returns with an evening of live storytelling exploring the complicated moments that shape our identities, relationships, and reputations. We’re talking betrayal, boundaries, heartbreak, survival, questionable decisions, and the moments that made us say, “You know what? Fine. I’ll be the villain.” Our storytellers are preparing to share their perspectives, and we want you in the room to witness them. Because the point isn’t to decide who’s right or wrong. It’s to remember that people are rarely as simple as the stories told about them. 🎟️ GET YOUR TICKETS: https://themuseeum.com/products/centered-phx-storytelling-villain-origin-stories Bring a friend.
