Hello OKC 👋! Coco’s namesake is @theotherrcope and @84hospitalitygroup ‘s long time mascot (since @empireslicehouse 2013) , Coco, who lived an incredible life and partied til 2025. Time to continue the party in her honor!

We took a little break to refine some ideas, and with the help of some award-winning friends, we are back on the move. Super excited to show you what we have been working on and can’t wait to bring new life to a historical building.

Tomorrow they announce the finalists for the @beardfoundation awards and our captain, @theotherrcope, is nominated for Outstanding Restaurateur in the US!

Since 2013 she has led @84hospitalitygroup in creating multiple concepts (@gororamen , @burgerpunky , @empireslicehouse , Neon Coffee, Gun Izakaya, Ponyboy, @elisabettaokc , @cocosokc) as well as being a champion for Oklahoma teachers, the @homelessalliance , and the LGBTQ+ community.

This award nomination might list my name, but it represents our entire @84hospitalitygroup team and all of the hard work we have put in over the last 12.5 years. I was beyond surprised this morning to see this and feel extremely honored to be recognized. Everyday I wake up and am thankful that I get to go to work at a job that combines my five favorite things: people, food, art, music, & booze (depending on the day, the order of those may change..)

I continuously tell people that Oklahoma is an incredible place to live. There are so many talented people in this state, some of whom are also included in these lists and a lot of amazing people who paved the way for us all. Congrats to all!
