When I took my first Pound Fitness class, I KNEW I had to bring it to kids. 🥁💚
The rhythm, the energy, the JOY—I instantly saw how powerful this could be for young minds and bodies.

Watch the video that lit the spark and made me say, “I’m getting certified.”

Now, I want to lead Pound Fitness for Kids—blending music, movement, and mindset to help students grow strong, focused, and confident.

📩 Want to bring this energy to your school, program, birthday parties, or community center? Let’s connect!

From the classroom to the cardio floor—same heart, new rhythm. 💚🥁

After 8 amazing years teaching in K–5 classrooms, I’ve stepped into a new season—still working with kids, just doing it differently these days.

Now, I’m leading Pound Fitness for Kids, blending movement, rhythm, and joy to support physical health, emotional growth, and academic confidence.

Teaching is still in my soul—I’ve just traded whiteboards for Ripstix®, and I’m loving every minute of it. 💪🏾🎶

To all my fellow educators, dreamers, and doers: your purpose can evolve and still be powerful.

Let’s keep building strong minds and bodies—one beat at a time. 💥

Before we had drumsticks we had paper towel rolls. We didn’t have the space to stand and yet..we had a blast!!!

I now offer #poundfitness for kids!

I can come to schools, community centers, your backyard, a birthday party at a park, and any other location where kids can have fun and make tons of noise!!

This is a video of me teaching my 1st grade scholars about understanding the hard and soft c in words. They were able to use movement as a way to check their understanding.

Scholars were engaged with my content but….slide right to see how I engage scholars now! 🥁

The fact that kindergarteners know about @mrbeast is telling!! lol. These babies know more about #youtube than #reading at times and it’s so interesting! These tiny people can definitely navigate technology! Kids are hilarious!!
