We’re SO excited to announce our very first event, Sapphoween! This will be the first installation of our recurring event Sappho Social, taking over the gorgeous @sapphobooks this 25 October. 👻🎃👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩✨

Sappho Social is a new social night for sapphics, lesbians, queer and FLINTA+ folks to enjoy a relaxed night out, meet some new pals, and generally get amongst the revelry.

From 5-10pm the bar will be serving drinks and tapas, plus we’ll have a lolly bar for a little trick-or-treating, because obviously adults deserve Halloween treats too. 👻

Costumes are encouraged but not required!

Ticket link in bio! Very limited capacity 🙈 by @thesapphobar

WIN A DOUBLEPASS TO SEE LEVITICUS!
We have five double passes to see the highly anticipated new movie Leviticus! Simply order any cocktail at the Sappho Bar this weekend (Friday (12/06) and Saturday (13/06) for your chance to draw a ticket from the Magic Beer Glass!
The Sappho Bar is open from 6pm until 10pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Check out our website for menus and upcoming events.
Synopsis: Teenage boys Naim and Ryan strike up an unexpected connection. But when their bond draws the attention of their community, a ritual is performed on them, releasing a violent entity. An entity that takes the form of its victim’s truest desire…
LEVITICUS is written and directed by the brilliantly talented Adrian Chiarella and produced by Australian genre specialists Causeway Films (Talk To Me, Bring Her Back, The Babadook). Debuting to widespread critical and audience acclaim at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, LEVITICUS will release in cinemas nationally on June 18, 2026.
Starring Joe Bird and Stacy Clausen in the lead roles, alongside Mia Wasikowska, LEVITICUS is one of the must-see Australian films of 2026.
