OUR BLOG IS BACK !! 🤭🥳 i love that I was like “I should really start the blog again, that was fun and people ACTUALLY READ IT (thank you 🥹🥹) - and then I noticed it was exactly ONE YEAR to the week that I stopped weekly blogs 🥹 👉🏽 SO this one is for the Actors !! …your body is one of your most valuable creative instruments, so training it shouldn’t be about looking a certain way on camera. It’s about developing the strength, stamina, mobility and coordination to explore more possibilities as a performer. Sometimes that means preparing for demanding choreography or long days on set. Other times, it’s simply having the physical control to make the smallest movement look effortless (more on this in the blog lol) AND because I want to help you put this into practice, I’ve made a FREE little 3-day actor training programme, with ~30 minute sessions designed specifically for you as an artist. It’s a simple little gift for you if you’re been unsure where to start at the gym. 🤍 Read the blog to get it 🥰🤭 #actor #acting #performingartists #fitness #3daysplit by @thestretchiflex
This week‘s challenge – go somewhere alone that inspires you🕊️✨ Maybe it’s somewhere you’ve been meaning to go for awhile or something you haven’t really thought about – set some time aside and maybe be unexpectedly inspired (or just feel refreshed). Xx 💋 by @thestretchiflex
Yay I remembered to do this again this week 🤪 This week your challenge is to spend an hour or more creating something that’s not online or on any technological device. I bought a paint by numbers last night at Kmart and I don’t foresee it being any good as an end product but very enjoyable as a process 🤓 I’ll let you know how it goes. Let me know how yours goes !! 🤍 by @thestretchiflex

From this afternoons core class with @premiumfitness_community 🔥 Feat. some little cartoonies to help visualise some of the exercise I self-named 🤪 Save this to finish your next gym session - or - 30 min core on your bingo card this week? Option 1: 45 seconds per exercise, rest for 15 seconds between each. Complete at the end of your next gym session. Option 2: As above, but repeat 3 times for a standalone core session (35 mins) 🤍 (Download the free Tabata timer app for timer assist 🤸) #gym #wellness #core #workout #workoutmotivation 1. Glute bridge (up and down, squeezing glutes through the movement). 2. Leg press (knees in 90 degrees, puuuuushing hands against legs - you WILL feel this in your core - keep consistent push for the 45s. 3. Foot 90 degree taps (ideally, the leg that taps should be straight as your heel taps the ground as far away from you as possible. Keep the bent knee in line with or below your hips rather than above your belly button – you’ll feel this in your core !!) If you get stuck for technique with any of the other exercises, DM me 🤍 by @thestretchiflex
I got so excited making our first little challenge that I forgot to really chat about it in the images 🤓 🧚🏼 Challenge: Book into some kind of class that will challenge your ability but also something that you are interested in learning!! this is supposed to be enjoyable 🤪🌻 find any class around your local city and book it in – ideally this week if you can – and get ready to be challenged and probably humbled !! lol. ITS SO HEALTHY TO PUSH YOURSELF AND BE BAD AT SOMETHING!! Examples for beginners: @thespacedancecentre @puppyyogamelbourne_ Your local park run ?! That counts !! DM me what you did or take a photo in your class and tag us after 🫶🏽👏🏽 Xx by @thestretchiflex
