I took Rhythm to Minneapolis with me this week and we experienced some fun while making memories.

Mall of America’s Nickelodeon Universe. There’s way more rides than I remember back in the day. He was very impressed.

Mark and Deb gave him a gift basket, just like they did when I was a kid. What a fun surprise for Rhythm. @marharps @debra.harper.378

DeeDee hooked him up with some squishies. Not just some but a bunch. She won his affection! 😂 @memaw1234567

We closed out our time with a visit to Paisley Park, Prince’s studio complex. He recognized a few of the songs he heard along the way. Pet doves making sounds really inspired Prince to write “When Doves Cry”. I’ll never stop being in awe of the gifts and talents God gives us. He’s the author of creativity. No matter how people use it. ( @rhythm_gold told me to write more hit songs, impressed by the 65,000 sq ft complex!) 😉

Some special time together in the middle of a busy and hard life season was such a gift.

It’s my favorite weekend of the year: The Belonging Conference 2026 IN OUR MIDST.
That’s the thing that gives me chills is how much God was and is in our midst. The messages were so timely- like NOW words for my family. He goes before us. He impresses words and messages on people’s spirits to speak to us because He knows. (Humbling) After what was a hard week, there was no better room for me to be in. The Lord does turn mourning into dancing. In this room, was an atmosphere that allowed me to stir up my faith to have hope and even see redemption. In what feels nothing short of a miracle I feel like I’m on cloud 9! Last night, as I looked around the room while we were in worship I couldn’t help but notice the purity of people in pursuit of the Lord. It was holy!

Thank you x a million to Pastors @henryseeley and @alexseeley for your YES. Thanks for not being afraid to be LOUD and sit in SILENCE. Both are needed. And both during and in between every song, message, session and encounter the Lord was in our midst.
He was and is in my midst.

Standing beside my husband @momentummedia in worship. This is what we will remember in 20 years. I’m so glad we were in the room. The Holy Spirit is the best friend and triage unit. I pray you all find a church home that helps grow you as a disciple.

My first @thebelongingco conference was in 2018. I filled up the mauve journal in the years since. I’m not the same girl I was then. There’s been a lot of healing, growth and revelation. It only felt right to start a new journal for 2026 conference. He’s doing a new thing!

Something my friend Natalie Runion said in her @raisedtostay book is “Forgiveness is so becoming on you. Wear it like a fine perfume.” In real life, I don’t wear perfume but if you smell a sweet aroma around me it just might be forgiveness multiplied to running over. by @theyancy

Today @rhythm_gold used in ears for the first time. It was something he has asked about so when the monitor engineer offered them to him today it was an easy yes. He was busting with excitement.

Started the week off diving back into the books and our homeschool life. I can’t believe @sparrowrocket is 10th grade and @rhythm_gold is in fourth. Literally did a double take fact checking that.
Last weekend we had our meet the teacher event at #dollywood which feels extra special after yesterday’s news.

Williamson County Fair on a Sunday night was a hot one but also just the perfect dose of fun and thrill.

There was only one way I wanted to spend our anniversary today. Saying goodbye to @burgerup on its final day. It’s the restaurant that could define our family memories better than any other.
As @rhythm_gold told @sparrowrocket today that he was lucky because Rhythm only got 9 years of it but Sparrow had all 15 of his years. 😭
Thanks again @mirandawpontes for your vision brought to life. You single handily made #nashville a better place with your burger, fries, aioli, kale salad, fried pickles and the heart of it all.

Perfect 10.🥳🎉🧡 That’s exactly how I’d rate this day where @rhythm_gold entered double digits and became 10. My baby is ten. What? So much of my life has changed in his ten years, mainly because he required it. He is the one that makes me pause. He’s the one that makes me process the cost. He’s the best snuggler in the world…I’m thankful for how he holds my hand loves me, just because I’m his safe place.
Rhythm, I love how much you embrace the various ways we’ve celebrated you and make them become a tradition. You are a rhythm, and live up to your name in the best way. I love you x 10 and then a million more.
Happy birthday my baby boy. Always love God, hate sin!🧡

It’s @rhythm_gold last day to be single digits…which means I don’t want to forget these sweet moments with him this week: from ice cream to snuggle sessions to the only flight that could get me home from my gig for his birthday tomorrow. Such a special day to glance over and see my boy leading kids in worship right there with me.
Swipe to see us on stage…and I love to see the passion while he does it. Today is a day I don’t want to forget.
