Wow what a week 🤯
•••
An extremely grateful yet taxing week , I am super fortunate to get to do this and somewhat call it my job , not making money from prize money or winning but being a representative of the @peak_team and our partners , thank you @biogen_sa @drylandza and all of our partners that come together to keep us rolling.
•••
The people I meet , the places we get to ride our bikes through and the connections we make in a week like this are unmatched 🫶🏼 it does come at a price , and in the last year that price has gone up ⬆️ 👶 the guilt of leaving Emma and Locky at home while I get to play bikes builds up constantly and a sick boy and a racing mommy make it tough , BUT we chose this and we soldier on 🫡 it just makes the moments at home more special and the moments away more calculated.
•••
Our weeks goal was to solidify our pairing into next years stage races , as a whole there isn’t much to fault and I look forward to tackling some big gold next year with @dejager99 and @peak_racing_za
