Another EMOM for you to try if you want to become an absolute monster. It is easy if you want it to be, but I recommend choosing a weight and a rep target that scares you at least once a week! You don’t need to go to the fanciest gym in town you need basic movement patterns to be done well, overloaded progressively, and you need to stick with it . The reason you’re not in shape isn’t because there is an exercise you haven’t tried or a diet you haven’t done. It’s because you’ve never been consistent. Try that. by @timcolledgefitness

This warm up routine is for you to save and practice before any workout or playing sports. It could even be part of your morning routine to get some movement into your body before a day at the office! taken in BodyProject UAE by @timcolledgefitness

This was the hardest I’ve trained this year. Pushed along by my partner Caz, who apparently takes no prisoners. We did a little bit of technique practice of tire flipping before throwing together this quick conditioning workout. 10 Power Cleans followed by 5 R/L Sandbag Lunges. Topped off with 100 cal on the assault bike. Nothing fancy today just some good old fashioned grinding it out 🔥 🫁 💪🏻 taken in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates by @timcolledgefitness

Tim Colledge

Personal Trainer and BodyProject head coach. In 2012 I started personal training my clients in small groups which has evolved into what BodyProject is today. I love SGPT and believe it is more effective at getting results from clients than one on one personal training.

If you don’t believe me come and give us a try!

Tim

Georgia Roberts

Personal Trainer, BodyProject Coach and Gym Manager at BodyProject.

I started personal training in 2019 before joining BodyProject when the studio first opened five years ago. Since then, I’ve loved being part of its growth and helping build the amazing community we have today.

I’m a big believer in small group personal training and love seeing people get stronger, fitter and more confident, all whilst having fun along the way!

Come and see what we’re all about!

BodyProject Kids’ Fitness Coach

As a former teacher and passionate youth fitness coach, I believe that getting kids active is an essential component of their physical and emotional growth. Much more than just exercise, BodyProject Kids has been developed to help children build strength, confidence and friendships through fun, challenging group workouts starting a lifelong habit based on their love of being active from a young age.

Come give our kids and family sessions a try!

I’m the newest addition to the BodyProject coaching team!

I’ve been coaching for 6 years. I started out mainly with 1-on-1 PT, but over time I found myself drawn more towards group training. I enjoy the energy, support and accountability that come with training alongside other people, as well as the extra push when you need it.

I love being part of the BodyProject community and helping people get fit and strong in the small group PT setting! taken in BodyProject UAE by @timcolledgefitness

How to stay healthy and keep doing the things you love

The broken toe position. Ouch! But tightness in your feel can cause injuries further up your body such as knees and hips!

If you only have time for one stretch then make it this frog pose. Hold the position for 3 minutes every day. It’s fixed my back pain and helps with tightness in my hips!

This is much like the frog pose for my back and hips but with external rotation at the hips!

This dynamic squat is an everyday stretch for me! Make sure to keep your fists on the floor and work on being able to keep your feet flat down. taken in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates by @timcolledgefitness

Gonna share more of my experiences trying to trail run this season so here’s a few things I’m doing at the moment to fix imbalances in my lower body 🦵🏽 As a veteran PT and NOT a trail runner I have lots of skills that transfer but if anyone is specifically trail coach and got any tips I’m all ears 🏃🏻‍♂️💨😮‍💨 by @timcolledgefitness

I wasn’t 40 in this photo little did I know what was to come? 😫

These were recommended to me by a Physio. They really feel like they hit the area of my lower back that I struggle with. QL, Glute / Hips are always an issue when I neglect these preventative exercises!

This variation of a Copenhagen plank should be on everybody’s to do list whether you are a trail runner wanting more stability in your hips or just would like to see some definition in your core. DO THEM!

I don’t add weight to these Glute bridges because as you can see, I struggle to hit full extension, even with just my body weight!

More muscle in your lower legs means your knees bare less Impact! These tibia raises are very effective for building up strength in the front of your lower leg!

If you do not have access to the tib bar I was using in the previous slide. This is the closest variation I can think of that works well! taken in United Arab Emirates by @timcolledgefitness
