I haven’t posted much about work this year, mainly because I’ve just been that flat out between campaigns, festivals, auditions, and stand-up shows.

2024 has been a great year for @polymath_pr so far, having repped documentaries, feature and short films at three of the top film festivals in the world; @berlinale, @dublinfilmfestival, and @slamdancegroup.

We’ve also had the joy of working with talent such as @tatjana.anders on the promotion of her incredible short film "Your Reality" and hammyactor in support of his recent appearance in @amazonmgmstudios big-budget action flick "Heads of State" alongside #JohnCena and #IdrisElba. I've also had my hand in managing press for the absolute fiends in @dead_flesh_official , who are set to appear in the upcoming issue of @metalhammeruk Hammer!

We are currently looking to take on new projects for May onwards, so if you’re reading this and in need of a PR assist, hit me up.

Furthermore, something I’ve dabbled with for a while is the idea of starting a TikTok channel. The goal would be to create short videos for actors, filmmakers, and bands trying to navigate promotion, but also to any freelancers looking to make a career in the arts but who are struggling with where to start and how to maintain in the current climate.

If there is anything specific that anyone reading this who fits in those categories’ fits, please drop a comment below with any questions you might have on the topic of PR. My plan is to gather any responses I get together and look to answer them in the videos.

If you could give this post a share, it would be much appreciated. Cheers all! X

I don't post as much these days, but wanted to share some exciting news. Earlier this year I was made a Fellow of @thersaorg and a member of @ivorsacademy! A big thank you to both for having me!

Also, here's me in a very cool @whitechapelband long sleeve. Honestly, how cool is this thing? by @tompolymathpr

Thanks to everyone for the lovely birthday messages, I really appreciate it.

A few weeks ago, I decided to give myself a gift, that being I would finish the first draft of my one man play "The Pit." So, here it is! The reason I've been so quiet and haven't done anything comedy related in 2025 is due to a mix of wanting to get this done and Polymath business being mad busy, which is no bad thing.

I have to say a huge thank you to everyone who let me perform at their venues in 2024. The reason I went after comedy was largely in to work on skills for this.

The plan now is to sharpen it up, head to Edinburgh later this year for research, and have it stage ready for around September, so I can apply to UK and International Fringe events and theatre festivals in 2026.

Thanks again, all. GRMA.

Customer Relations 101:
Me: Thanks for the payment. I'm using part of the money to get a tattoo.
Friend/client: Oh, cool!
Me: Yeah, I knew this job would hurt and I wanted proof.

The proof.

Thanks to @tatsoutforemily at @bodycraft2 for the @dailystoic inspired tattoo!

I had a fucking wonderful time at the @bafta awards last night @kylesevenoaks. Congratulations to all the winners and mad respect to the nominees. Just being in the running puts you among some of the finest films screened and/or released in the past year.

Thank you to the amazing staff at the @royalfestivalhall and the BAFTA events team for a great night.

Thanks to @idk.im.just.alex for doing my nails and helping me curate this outfit. A banging weekend was wrapped at @bafta195 with Kyle and @anabellexiii before going home to this one. Thanks to the staff at 195 for being so accommodating, as always.

Until next year!
