here it is: the solo you’ve been asking for! this one was quite difficult to track as you can imagine (so many f-bombs…). the sweeps are slow enough where you can’t get away with sloppy playing, but fast enough to require 100% focus. regardless, i think it came out well!

i’ve been practicing sweeps picking for 7 years now. if you’re looking to start your guitar sweeping journey, here are some quick practice tips:
- don’t
- it’s not worth it
- go outside touch grass

oh, also instrumentals are out for colorblind!

our debut album has already been out for an entire month!! thank you to all who streamed and purchased it!!

this solo was kind of a last-minute shoehorn into the album. it was originally supposed to be a guest feature, but that fell through. i think i started writing this one the second i got the message they couldn’t do it lol. three hours later, this was written on my @guitarpro_official

WE ARE DOING A LITTLE GIVEAWAY!!

To celebrate reaching 10k streams on our new album “Colorblind” we will be giving away 1 Large Traces Remain T-shirt for free! (I apologize we dont have other size options due to this being unplanned but in the future we will for sure!)

To enter all you need to do is leave a comment on this post and in 2 weeks on 6-14-26 I’ll randomly draw a winner and reach out for details to ship the shirt out to you!

It is such an honor to even be making this post. I initially ordered shirts for the band members and I ended up ordering an extra shirt which worked out well for this occasion!

We want to thank everyone who has taken time out of their busy lives to listen to our music. It means way more to us than words can express. We have so much planned for the future and cant wait to share it with you guys!

adhd-infused modern metal riff with LOTS of tapping (my favorite thing in the whole world). this is likely the hardest riff on the whole record.

One of my favourite parts of the album in our track „Odium“. Awesome work by my brothers in @tracesremain.
