Gi & no gi @nabjjf comp today…Aaron & Zachary continued to work and push hard in their matches. Another @ibjjf today…in Vegas! Tough day in the gi as the boys came up short of the podium, but the work doesn’t stop. Aaron bounced back in no gi and earned a🥉medal. Zachary actually had the stomach flu last night but pushed through in the morning. Proud of their willingness to compete, learn, and keep pushing forward. Wins and losses are all part of the journey. Back to the mats and onto the next one. Huge thanks to @coachcruz_jiujitsu for coming all the way to Las Vegas to corner the boys. And of course our bjj family @schoolbjjarcadia for the constant support! by @tseingbjj

Competed in @dreambjj today and brought home some hardware! Had some amazing competitors who push us every time we face each other on the mats. Each in a bracket of 7 strong boys, Aaron brought home 🥈 and Zachary with the 🥇! Aaron & Zachary’s summer began and they became young entrepreneurs this weekend. They are launching their very own vending machine business at our jiujitsu gym! They had their own “Shark Tank” moment by putting together a business proposal and presenting it to @coachcruz_jiujitsu. After getting the green light, they created a business plan, worked through the details, purchased the machine, stocked it, and got everything up and running themselves.Every snack and drink purchased helps pay for their jiujitsu competitions, all while teaching them valuable lessons about goal setting, responsibility, customer service, and financial literacy.Thank you @schoolbjjarcadia for supporting these boys as they chase their goals both on and off the mats. Our first time competing @nabjjf and it was definitely an experience. Went up against some tough competitors this time around and even had to go brother vs. brother in no gi for bronze. Both showed heart and had their brotherly love tested. Aaron eventually won but Zachary felt defeated. Despite all that, Zachary put aside his frustration and anger and pressed on to win silver in gi and cheered for Aaron in his final gi match in OT to win bronze. This was the fight for bronze. Aaron was gassed and the match went into OT (first point wins). Aaron dug deep, gave everything he got, and secured the takedown to win the match. All the while, Zachary and @coachcruz_jiujitsu were coaching and cheering him on through the end. It’s not about ourselves—it’s about lifting each other up, pushing one another toward our goals, and cheering each other on every step of the way. Aaron had a challenging day at @jjworldleague today. He had some tough matches but came out with some wins and lessons! Aaron placed 🥈in gi and 🥉in no gi. He had 3 matches in gi - won 2 and lost 1. He had 4 matches in no gi - won 3 and lost 1. He continues to grow stronger mentally and physically. But most importantly he continues his love for jiujitsu!
