[📍Singapore, 2025 Michelin Bib Gourmand ]
Took me awhile to make this Reel but I finally tried all 11 new Michelin Bib Gourmand 2025 entrants! Thought it would be timely to share this before the year ends.

There were some hits and misses but overall, my tummy was blessed.

[📍Media drop, Suguru Home Dining ]
While the restrictions have mostly been lifted and we can dine out with no group size limits, sometimes, a meal at home with our loved ones is always the best.

And who says that you can’t enjoy a Japanese fine dining experience from the comfort of your home? With @suguruhomedining, we managed to do just that and we were surprised to find that even though the food was delivered to us instead of being served fresh on the spot, the quality of it was the same, if not better, than most Japanese restaurants we’ve been to in Singapore.

Suguru Home Dining kindly sent over their Chilled Truffle Somen with Hokkaido Seasonal Uni & Raw Hokkaido Scallops, Onsen Egg with Ikura and Snow Crab, and Chum Salmon Ikura and boy, were we blown away.

While light and refreshing, the somen was elevated by the rich flavours and creamy texture of the fresh uni. The addition of the chilled, raw Hokkaido scallops also added a subtle sweetness to the dish and mellowed out the briny flavours from the uni. The dish was also surprisingly filling without being too heavy on the palate!

The onsen egg also made the perfect appetiser and the addition of the Ikura and snow crab definitely made it more luxe.

[📍Chef Wang Fried Rice, Singapore ]
Finally trying the food from Chef Wang Fried Rice after all the queues have died down and I can see the hype.

We got the prawn fried rice ($6.50). Really tasted like din tai fung standard fried rice and there was plenty of wok hei. Also impressed by the size and the amount of prawns they gave. Good for people who want to try DTF but don’t want to pay $10 for fried rice. by @twofatkids

[📍Lo Hey Hong Kong Seafood, Singapore ]

Was I in Kowloon Hong Kong, or Holland Village Singapore?

My location tag gives it away but dining at Lo Hey Hong Kong Seafood really made me feel like I was holidaying in Hong Kong. The restaurant’s design is inspired by the iconic era when Hong Kong’s film industry was as its peak between the 1980-1990s and I really loved how they nailed all the details!

Several of the dishes here are prepared using a high-heat claypot cooking technique popularised in Guangzhou’s dai pai dong, so diners can expect the dishes to arrive piping hot at the table with a “zhe-zhe” sizzle.

We are definitely coming back here for date night because the vibes were ✨immaculate✨

From the decor to the menu, everything at Medusa Osteria Romana was very well thought out.

We enjoyed the:
🧀 Fried Burrata ($26)
🐟 Tuna Carpaccio ($26)
🍝 Pappardelle ($36)
🍕 Mortadella & Pistachio ($35)

It’s hard to pick a favourite because all the dishes were good but if we had to, it would be the Pappardelle, which features braised ossobuco ragu, tomato jus, butter and parmigiano.

Ever wanted to try the food from one Michelin star Shisen Hanten but didn’t have the budget for it?

You now can do so at @chensmapotofu, which has introduced “From the Michelin Kitchen,” a new recurring culinary series helmed by Chef Chen Kentaro that brings signature creations from Shisen Hanten to a wider audience through exclusive, limited-time offerings.

Through this initiative, Chen’s Kitchen aims to bridge the gap between fine dining and casual dining, allowing more guests to enjoy celebrated Michelin-starred creations without the formality of a fine-dining experience.

The inaugural edition of the series from now till 30 September 2026 will showcase a curated selection of dishes previously available only at Shisen Hanten. This includes Chef Chen’s infamous Crab Roe Tofu and Banbanji.

From Spanish fare to Mexican bites, the establishment’s menu has a myriad of options to choose from.

We enjoyed a classic plate of Guacamole & Chips ($16), Crispy Pulpo ($28), cheesey Quesadilla De Lomo ($24), and a very meaty Cubano ($24).

Hankering for Spanish food? Sabór is a new restaurant in the heart of Singapore at CHIJMES that specialises in solid, no-frills Spanish fare.

The 100-seater restaurant gives you the option to dine in its glass-lined dining room or the outdoor courtyard.

Fun fact — Tatler Magazine picked it to be one of the best openings for April 2026.

Its name means “flavour” in Spanish, and that’s exactly what Sabòr delivered during our dining experience.

They have a wide selection of classic tapas to choose from and we loved the Spicy Crab Croquette and Bikini Sandwich Sobrasada Honey & Cheese. For something more refreshing, get the Tomato Salad.

A must-try at any Spanish restaurant is a piping hot pan of Paella and we adored the Seafood Paella, which we daresay is one of the best we’ve tried.

One highlight for us was the Grilled Chicken & Cherry Glaze. Succulent with hints of sweetness from the cherry glaze, we polished the dish off.

There’s always room for dessert, so we got the Crema Catalana with Cookies, a decadent treat that was the perfect way to end the meal.
