No comics, no superheroes, no breath without Jesus speaking the words and bringing them into being. Praise the Lord!

More comic nerdery coming your way! CGC took good care of me with some recent submissions. I was expecting (hoping) for the Haunted House to be an 8.5 and also for the Batman to be a 9.4. So, win, win, win….all around!

Pssst!! The Wrightson Secrets of Haunted House in on eBay 😜

Every year I go down to Port Mansfield and fish with Capt. Joe Prado, and my good friends Mike Herrmann, Dustin Nichols and Glenn Martin. We always have a great time and wreck’em! Thanks again Capt Joe and gents for the memories and much needed break!

Guys, if you’re not familiar with @rescueriverco you should be!!

Rescue River was started by our good friends, Lucas and Hannah, who were led by the Lord to help rescue young women in Uganda from terrible abuse. Once these women are removed from those situations and their cases are tried in court, Rescue River provides a critical piece of the puzzle: dignified and stable employment. The survivors are taught to tie flies, which are offered for sale on the Rescue River website. It’s a beautiful combination of Jesus’ heart for the least of these and practical, business oriented solutions.

🚨The first production of these special flies just dropped!! 🚨

We’re asking you to head over there right now and pick some up. Not only will you get to fish something truly unique and special, you’ll be helping to make a difference in lives who truly need it.

THANK YOU!!! 🙏🏽 ✝️ 🎣

This highlighted portion really stood out to me in my reading of Romans Ch. 4 today.

How do you define F-A-I-T-H? 🤔

Here, Paul is saying that Abraham’s faith was his belief in action that God would DO what he PROMISED.

❤️‍🔥This begs the question—WHAT has God promised to DO???❤️‍🔥

He’s told us! If you don’t know what He’s promised to do, read 👉🏽THE BIBLE👈🏽. Without knowing God’s promises it is very difficult to live in reliance on them, which is faith!

Love you!!! 🫶🏽✝️

I love my church!!! ⛪️ If you don’t know already, the Lord led my family to Kings Porch many years ago, which is a network of home churches in Austin and Dripping Springs, TX. Our church is intentionally small, but blessed with so many talented musicians! 🎶 🎼 🎵 . Because of that, we’ve been able to produce some incredible music despite our super small footprint.

Here’s a small fact as well—yours truly is singing background on each of these tracts, and by the Grace of God you can’t tell 😂

New KingsPorch music out today! We’ve been singing this song at church for 6 months now… and we’re excited to get it out to you and your church! Our favorite part is hearing our kids sing scripture over themselves at the top of their lungs!

I’m a huge comic book nerd. I love the art, the nostalgia, the idea of the hero, and the pursuit of a great collectible. The comic market is down right now (is it down for the count?), so I’ve taken advantage and scooped these 4 books while prices are low.
