Lolani has a new work in the Artspace Aotearoa exhibition Group Admits Mistake! Here he is giving the index finger dressed in a #Mobil jacket standing next to his artwork — three low res cutout figures looming large and a bus stop on loan from Auckland Transport.

Dispatch from the opening of 𝘾𝙍𝙄𝙏: 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚 1987 at Artspace Aotearoa (@artspace.aotearoa) last week in Tāmaki Makaurau.

Jacqueline Fahey’s 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙋𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 is currently on view at Gow Langsford (@gowlangsford) in Onehunga.

In 2023, photographer Edith Amituanai (@edith_amituanai) visited Fahey at her home and studio with Becky Hemus (@uberbeige), Chloe Hill (@chloechill) and Lara Daly (@lara.daly). In this series of previously unpublished images, paintings from Fahey’s current exhibition are visible throughout the space.

Bringing together works from the 1950s to the present day, 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙋𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 surveys more than seven decades of one of Aotearoa’s most uncompromising artistic voices.
