Sssst! 😗 It’s been a crazy summer and we kinda ghosted y’all, but ULAM is back. We’re popping up this Saturday outside of @sidepractice.coffee and @kanin.chi to celebrate FAHM.

Keeping it classic this time. Dragging out the @thaancharcoal grill, firing up some skewers, and throwing a little Saturday BBQ with Kuya and Ate. Come hang, eat some good food, and catch up with us 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 by @ulamchicago

ULAM 001 is in the books.

Not gonna lie, this meant everything. Seeing it come to life, seeing all of you in the room, it felt exactly how we hoped it would. Appreciate everyone for pulling up and trusting us with something new.

I’ve been building this quietly in my head for a while.

I chose the name ULAM because it’s both easy and hard to define. ULAM is just food..

Sometimes it’s sinigang, sometimes it’s a rotisserie chicken from costco. It doesn’t have to be filipino food, it doesn’t have to be fusion, it doesn’t have to be anything..it just has to hit the spot.

This will be a canvas for the meals I can’t always cook at KANIN.

Some of it will feel familiar. Some of it won’t.
Pull up a chair, Let’s eat.

Weekend dinners.
