Per la prima volta, l’evento si è svolto su due giorni, per mettere in contatto studenti e studentesse e laureati e laureate con più aziende. L’evento non si configura soltanto come una fiera del lavoro, ma come uno spazio di dialogo diretto tra formazione accademica e pratica professionale. Chi studia o ha appena conseguito la laurea può conoscere i progetti delle organizzazioni, fare domande e scoprire opportunità di tirocinio, tesi e lavoro. Aziende e istituzioni possono incontrare potenziali collaboratrici e collaboratori e conoscere da vicino i talenti di unibz. by @unibz

What happens when we question what we take for granted?

Last week “Assume Nothing”, the new edition of Diplorama!, the exhibition of graduates from our Faculty of Design and Art (@unibz_designxart) has opened. The exhibition presents the work of 32 students from the Bachelor in Art, Bachelor in Design and Master in Eco-Social Design. For the graduates, it is an opportunity to present their work to a wider public. This year, Diplorama! extends beyond the university for the first time, with a second venue in the city of Bozen-Bolzano.
You can visit until 10 October at the Faculty of Design and Art (Piazzetta Darwin) and the Civic Gallery (Piazza Domenicani), from 10 am–12 pm and 3–7 pm.

Fresher Days have officially begun!
Today, our Bozen-Bolzano campus welcomed our new students for the start of the academic year. Over the next few days, our freshers will discover their faculties, study programmes and university services, meet the student associations and, most importantly, get to know one another. Tomorrow, the welcome continues at our Brixen-Bressanone campus, where more new students will begin their unibz adventure.

Am Samstagvormittag wurde die Hofburg in Brixen (@hofburgbrixenbressanone) wieder zum Ort des Feierns: 186 Absolvent:innen der Fakultät für Bildungswissenschaften nahmen ihre Abschlusszeugnisse entgegen und feierten gemeinsam den Abschluss ihrer Zeit an der unibz. Hinter ihnen liegen Vorlesungen, Prüfungen, Projekte und viele gemeinsame Erlebnisse – vor ihnen neue Wege, Ideen und Herausforderungen.
Herzlichen Glückwunsch an alle Absolvent:innen! Wir wünschen alles Gute und viel Erfolg für alles, was jetzt kommt. by @unibz

Ready, set, talk!
Yesterday we wrapped up our Living the Campus activities with a Language Speed Dating – the perfect opportunity to put three weeks of intensive language learning into practice.
Italiano, Deutsch, English… our students switched between languages, moved through several rounds of conversation and experienced the trilingual spirit of unibz in action.

Last Saturday, the unibz community joined the SUNRISE Alliance (@sunrise.alliance) for the ‘One Alliance, One Forest’ walk. Students, academic staff and administrative staff came together for a shared walk through the forests of the Ritten/Renon plateau, enjoying beautiful views of the Dolomites along the way. Along the way, our professors introduced the group to fascinating facts about the mountain environment surrounding our campuses and shared insights into unibz’s research. The walk was filled with curiosities, quizzes and moments of exchange, and ended with some well-deserved refreshments. Meanwhile, the other eight partner universities followed routes through their own local forests. All the steps recorded were combined on a shared digital map, creating a symbolic journey across Europe and connecting the Alliance communities—even from a distance. taken in Renon - Ritten by @unibz

Discover Bozen–Bolzano from above! As part of Living the Campus, the social programme organised during our intensive language courses, some of our students explored the Oswald–St. Osvaldo Promenade yesterday. Winding through the vineyards of St. Magdalena, this panoramic walk offered the perfect opportunity to relax after language lessons, see Bozen–Bolzano from a different viewpoint and bond with new classmates. After all, university is about sharing experiences and building a community beyond the classroom. by @unibz

Who says new beginnings only happen in January? At unibz, September feels a little like New Year – because it marks the beginning of our intensive language courses and, for some of our students, the first step in their trilingual journey at unibz.
Over the coming weeks, our students will immerse themselves in German, Italian or English while getting to know unibz, exploring South Tyrol and making new friends through a varied programme of social, cultural and outdoor activities.
