INTRODUCING MARIE-LOUISE MÜLLER x UTE FABER

As part of FASHION POSITIONS
at POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair
Tempelhof Airport, Hangar 5
September 10–13, 2026

MARIE-LOUISE MÜLLER is a slow fashion studio in Berlin, founded in 2025. It produces couture and wearable art, crafted by hand, exclusively from natural fibres, with upcycling as one of its core elements. The studio specialises in crochet, knitting, embroidery and beadwork, all carried out in-house. The label is run by the designer Marie-Louise Müller. On 3 July 2026, she was presented with the New Faces Award Style by BUNTE magazine in the ‘Young Fashion Design’ category; two days later, the studio made its debut at Berlin Fashion Week with the ESCAPIST GARDEN SS27 collection.

Ute Faber,(born in 1962, Westerwald), studied painting, sculpture and art history in Berlin and Italy. She has been working as a freelance artist in Berlin since 1997.
Her media include woodcut, painting, objects and installation. Her found objects come from the city and the natural world. Through her, they undergo an artistic metamorphosis. Her themes are networks of relationships, existence and transience. She is also known for her shoe sculptures. In 2026, her works were exhibited in New York, Vienna and Kolkata.

This is Ute Faber.
Beyond being an internationally acclaimed multi-media artist with an incredible resume and career, she is also my friend, mentor and a constant source of inspiration.
