2024 the year I healed my inner child by making her dream of "replica" ruby slippers. made the bow interchangeable...evening and day bows. Didn't make them Halloween, made them for my birthday. That's the healing part-asked for ruby slippers every year growing up. Made my own yellow brick road in preparation for them and everything...but we lived in Germany and they were not easy to come by...so the wish was never fulfilled as the one time my parents ordered me a part from the states they arrived months later and too small....LOVED Wizard of Oz (& Return to Oz) so much but didn't celebrate Halloween really so never got a chance to be Dorothy. Never planned on getting a costume but went to Goodwill to try to find shoes that were the right shape for the slippers. Felt like I should go check the costumes even though I had just been there the day before looking (and this is a scary Goodwill I normally would NEVER go to alone especially after the knife mg wife and I found on the ground in the kid section and the weird vibes all around but I suddenly was there and inside-this dress was there for $6.49 same price as the shoes I found to use as the base, these slippers are giving me more Return to Oz vibes tho. Aura points if you know what the socks are from. @martynandrew made and appearance too. 🌈✨#iykyk. #rubyslippers #innerchild #oz #cablemanagementproblems #wizardofoz #dorothy by @vadaashley

~Solar Flare Gong AKA Sun Gong-a rare type of Chinese Gong. It has bands of lathed & unlathed rings. The unlathed parts control the splash/clash sound. The circle design concentrates tones keep it from ringing out like a fully lathed more traditional wind gong! Very grounding for an air sign like me.~ ...........................................................................................................................................................................................................*Join me LIVE daily on TikToK......... for variety show themed untraditional sound healing stream with a comedic twist.
