Thank you for 3 wondrous days 🐎🐎🐎🐎

We feel grateful, humbled, slightly hung over and very happy. After a tremendous week a spree of profound gratitude is in order:

Starting with happy clapping and high fives to you: @fourhorsemenbk for bringing your game: Thank you immensely; Ed, Kat, Amanda and Will. Thank you Levy for joining us! And Matt, thank you for the music. It has been a blast working, drinking and sharing time with you lovely people.

Wednesday at Ved Stranden 10 was special. I think that was the conclusion we reached around midnight or so and we confirmed it the next morning.

Thank you for your generosity setting this up and most importantly for the beats: Matt, Christian, Jonas, Jonas and James.

Thank you to all who showed up at both corners; participated, ate, drank and contributed to three magical days.

Thank you Mike Paré for the art work, Every Night Studios for the merch and Simon @srent.dk for the sound gear.

And finally (and then I stop): I’m forever grateful for the effort and spirit of the custodians at our two corners. Thank you for being you, each and every one.

Monday Meal 28/09 • Bean Stew with Chanterelles and Courgette

with Dave Mortensen of DAVE’S

Mushrooms are peaking these days, and that got Dave inspired. It’s his second time taking over our Monday Meal, and he’s coming with a hearty stew of beans and chanterelles, in the spirit of these autumnal times.

Maybe a bit of bread on the side, and definitely a generous glass of red.

As always, served from 1800, 100kr per person. No reservations or allergies accommodation. by @vedstranden10

4 Horsemen X Ved Stranden 10 • Wednesday 26/8, 17:00

It’s here! This Wednesday the 4 Horsemen plus friends descend upon corner n. 10.

We start at 17 with Will Piper taking charge of the traditional Wednesday Tasting and a communal meal served after, with the cooks from 4H and AG26 joining forces for a Kimchi Stew.

Music will be playing with a Good vibes Session crew all day. There will also be wine to pair accordingly.

Plenty of trouble to keep you going until 23, where there will be hugs for everyone.

Next Wednesday Adi will guide us to a village in Kakheti, Georgia, a magical place where nature, music, family and love create unique and expressive wines.

We will taste ‘Lunatiqi’ 2024 and 2025 from @devina_devine and @gaprenili_ankagoga ,
‘Mtsvane’ from @gogadari
And ‘Ça Tourne’ from the incomparable @ketibergogo .

We’ve heard rumours that there might be a surprise also 👀

As per usual, we gather at 1700 under the sun, 150kr per person.

Monday Meal 29/06 • Jambom Beurre sur la terrasse

Warm weather asks for simplicity, so we will be doing jambom beurre for Monday Meal.  It’s origins can be traced back to the bustling markets of 19th-century Paris, like Les Halles. A simple yet nourishing meal to sustain them through long hours, the market workers combined slices of Parisian ham between two thick slices of bread spread with butter.  We’re thinking properly chilled Gamay to go with it. Served from 18:00, dress code is european heat wave. by @vedstranden10

Wednesday Tasting 17.06 • Guest Winemaker: Kristinus  (Hungary)

Kristinus is a Demeter-certified biodynamic wine estate in Kéthely, on the southern shores of Lake Balaton in Hungary.

Led by winemaker Florian Zaruba, the estate works as a holistic farm: vineyards, meadows, forests and livestock all treated as one living organism.

Since 2018 they’ve farmed biodynamically, using only natural preparations, following cosmic rhythms, and keeping Murbodener cows whose manure feeds the vine preparations.

In the cellar the approach is the same: minimal intervention, letting the South Balaton terroir speak through the wines, with a soft spot for ancient methods like Pét-Nat and amphora ageing.

Florian is in town and will visit us for this Wednesday Tasting. The usual deal, we gather at 1700, in the terrace if the weather allows it, so come around! by @vedstranden10

We are sending Jacopo off to new endeavours and general exploration, so this week will be his last one behind our counter.

Join us at the bar this Friday between 15–17, where we’ll raise a glass to Jacopo and everything he’s given our corner over nearly four years. by @vedstranden10
