Never thought I’d be saying I ran from Toronto to Blue Mountain… but here we are.

Huge thank you to @maddiecri10 for putting our team together. Somehow you took a group of boxers and turned us into relay runners overnight 😉. And thank you @riotrelays for putting on such an incredible event.

Five legs. 28K. No sleep. A fuck ton of rain. Wet socks. And a whole lot of good vibes.

Safe to say I still very much love to run! by @vfriedberg

2025 Wrap: Fitness Edition 💪🏼
.
Hopping on the trend as 2025 felt like such a pivotal year for me in my own fitness journey.

I’ve grown so much as a coach thanks to the support of @161boxingclub. Then I got my first amateur fight, crushed a few PRs, and participated in some cool events. Of course it wouldn’t be me if I didn’t run, and I ran a lot! With a cool side quest of co-leading a run club with @maddiecri10!

It was a year filled with movement, growth, and learning what my body can do while letting go of perfection. It feels like just the beginning, and I’m excited for what 2026 has in store.

My little love letter to the coaches at 161, the members, and my friends who made the long days, early mornings and late night training all worthwhile. 🫶🏼 taken in Toronto, Ontario by @vfriedberg

Back at it again! This time not just as a runner, but as a coach and pacer.

We set out with a goal of sub-3hrs and were well on track for a 2:45 finish, but the race threw us some unexpected challenges, which happens to the best of us! Still, the grit and determination Chels showed out there (and my yelling) was incredible. She only started running with me last year, then ran her first ever half last year and came back to try and hit a PB. So proud 🥹

I know the pain she pushed through, and it’s not easy. (I cried in my first half) But she crossed that finish line and, despite everything, she said she wants to come back to PR the next one. 🫶🏼

Excited to see what else she’s capable of! Now for me, hopefully I’ll get to coach more people with their running, then it’s on to the full marathon for me next year! 🏃🏻‍♀️🤭 taken in Toronto, Ontario by @vfriedberg
