INSTANT FLATBREAD with sourdough discard. I just replaced half of the yogurt with sourdough discard in this case. Comment DISCARD and I’ll send a video.

🌶️ From garden to bottle!

Homegrown padrón peppers, a little kitchen magic, and a whole lot of heat 🔥 Letting the peppers ripen on the plant until they turn red, then giving them a little more time to develop is my trick for getting the best flavor.

Had so much fun creating this Whiskey Barrel Cake! 🥃
With my schedule being pretty packed, I didn’t get to enjoy the process as much as I would’ve liked. It felt a little rushed, with a deadline to meet and a cake to get out the door.

I’m not a novelty cake maker cos I simply don’t have the patience or the artistic skills for it 😂 But throw a random cake request at me, especially from a friend, and I’m always up for the challenge!

More than anything, I’m honored by the trust they place in me to bring their ideas to life. ❤️

Inside is a chocolate mud cake with fudge icing and a buttermilk vanilla cake with vanilla SMBC.

It was a challenging year for most PNW gardeners, but we had a good run. 🌱💚 Through the unpredictable weather, the wins, the losses, and everything in between, we made it to the finish line.

Now it’s time to tuck the garden in, cozy up, rest, and savor the quiet season. 🍂🧣 The beds can rest, the tools can be put away, and we can finally take a deep breath.

Because before we know it, the days will get longer, the seeds will be calling, and we’ll be right back at it again in 5 months. 😀🌱
