Wave Station returns this Friday and we are very pleased to welcome @prolifix_dnb to the decks for a 2 hour set 🔊🔊

Pete has been doing bits in the local circuit for more than a minute having launched @metropolisscotland back in 2017 which has been a consistent hub for all your bass music needs and many a sound c**t to be found on the decks and in the crowd. So make sure keep an eye out for future Metropolis parties including a guaranteed upcoming skelper with masked dnb bandits @cliquesmademedoit making the trip to the capital 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

With countless club sets and radio mixes under his belt, Pete certainly knows his way around the decks so you can be assured that when he touches down at @bunkerbaredinburgh it will be vibes on vibes.

Joining Prolifix on Friday will be Wave Station ressies BC & @idefix.audio getting things warmed up good and proper.

Don’t forget, open decks from 9pm-11pm if you fancy a casual mix. All you gotta do is turn up and turn up!

Come get a wiggle on 🌊 see you friday

Here we go again 🌊 This Friday we have two local DJs joining forces for the guest set. Bringing everything from uk garage, grime, breaks and dnb we are pleased to welcome @dave.angelo.valdez aka DAV and @s._.a._.m._.m aka 'I Fell In Love With Glizzies'

Dave Angelo Valdez (DAV) is an up and coming DJ based in Edinburgh. With a growing number of club sets behind him including at Bongos, Mash and Sneakys, DAV is adept in mixing through the genres to keep the party moving and frequencies rising.

Sam Mellis aka "i fell in love with glizzies" is known for cooking up a delicious fusion of UK garage and grime with a distinct London flavour. His USB is packed with the very best of Bakey, Main Phase, Oldboy, D Double E, and Novelist that will have you bouncing all night long.

Joining them on the night will be Wave Station head honcho BC warming up the wheels with the usual blend of bassy numbers.

As usual the open decks will be hosted 9pm-11pm and is open for anyone wanting to spin some tunes in a casual but live environment. Just bring a usb with some good tunes. The decks we have are Pioneer XDJ XZ so rekordbox formatted usb is the best way to go.

Lets goooo

After a memorable party last weekend with the hip-hop/rap special we’re back to the usual format for this weekend. Joining us this Friday is @smiffmusic, an artist that we’ve been really buzzing to get involved for the guest set for a while.

This Edinburgh based producer/DJ is making waves locally and in the wider music scene with a number of banging releases under his belt and having just dropped his latest 4 track EP ‘Verbal Groove’ on Berlin based imprint @sowasvoncrew

Smiff’s production skills and musical range is clear to see and hear when listening to the latest EP but also going back through previous releases where you get a taste of everything from dark dubby steppers (check out ‘Ám Dannsa’), 160 jungle rattlers (have a bite of ‘Badmin160’) and uptempo groovers (‘Purple Juice’ hits the spot). From the new EP, each tune hits home for anyone feeling the current wave of breakbeat and uptempo music.. personal favs off the EP are ‘Mutate’ and ‘Hydraplain’. Go check it.

Smiff is a busy man on the Edinburgh scene with regular DJ sets across the city including an impromptu b2b with none other than Skrillex the other week at @bongoclub.edinburgh… as well as a residency at @sneakypetesclub weekly night @postal.sundays and runs his own event called @red.room.sound

The future is bright for Smiff no doubt! Get down and catch him this friday at @bunkerbaredinburgh for his 2 hour guest set 1-3am

OPEN DECKS: 9-11PM (free entry)
DJs from 11-3AM (£3.50 entry with 10% to charity)
