I couldn’t make it to a physical Indie Bookshop this weekend… 📚🎤💕

…so allow me to show off this special Indie Edition of Daisy Jones & The Six, that recently arrived with the me, from Bookshop.org

Swipe to reveal the naked hardback, and THOSE edges. This edition also comes with some exclusive pages in the back too. 😍

If there’s a special Indie edition with great edges and exclusive content, I’m sold. ✅

Have you read Daisy Jones & The Six yet? What about the TV show?

Met so many lovely people; new faces and old friends. Last night was a bookish girlies dream. 🖤🩸

Auto-Buy Author: Lucinda Berry 🖤

I’m still working my way through the Lucinda Berry backlist, but these are my top recommendations from her stack so far.

There’s no denying she’s tackling the darkest of the dark topics, but she does it so well.

These books aren’t for the faint of heart - especially Saving Noah. A huge thank you to @novel.tours for this copy of the new UK edition; I first read Saving Noah a few years ago on audio, and it will stay with me for a very long time.

If you like books which start conversations, encourage you into the grey on topics you previously thought only black and white, and have you gripped until the very last page, I’d highly recommend picking up any of Lucinda Berry’s books - these just happen to be my top three.

As soon as I’d finished Phantom Limb, I closed the book and immediately retold it to my partner, who looked at me over his coffee like I’d fallen and hit my head. Worth it.

From one LB to another - these books get the seal of approval.

These Spredges just hit differently… 👀

How do you feel about sprayed edge books?

Personally, I think we could do more in the crime / thriller space - some of these are SO impactful when holding the book in your hands.

Do you recognise any of these edges? Guesses in the comments!

Swipe across for a reveal of the newest sprayed edge in my collection.

Did we succeed with mission impossible? 👀

A few weeks ago Team Tandem’s Lex set you a challenge: recommend an amazing thriller book… that she hasn’t yet read

And she’s read A LOT, so we knew it was going to be a tough challenge BUT we also know that the Tandem community delivers… and you did! 🙌

So, what did Lex read on her holiday? Let’s find out and what she thought! 📖

Shout out to @fi_charityshopreads for being the first to suggest The Chemist by A.A.Dhand

Have you read it? If you’ve not, maybe it’s one for your TBR?

Which member of Team Tandem will be looking for recs next… 🤔
