Every year I look forward to @futureforestfestival 🥰

Some of my fondest memories of my life reside between those trees.

Always way too early wasting time in public. 😅

I haven't been active on social media much, truth is I haven't been okay in a while. But it's okay not to be okay and it's okay to take space to be okay again.

123 days off cannabis today. And it's an honest grief. Grief of any kind comes and goes in waves and sometimes those waves are big and strong.

But with a little nurturing and care we can overcome those waves until the calm comes again.

If you relate just know you're not alone, we are in this together. Shit isn't easy but its never impossible.

I'll be okay soon. Much love 🖤 taken in Halifax, Nova Scotia by @wrmiidubs

@halifaxpride ✨ what an honour it was to open The Grind with a squirmy sunset set. Looking out on a sea of beautiful people just filled me with whimsy and pure queer joy 🌈

Thanks so much for having me back 🥹

@jake.jockerson I love selecting tracks while you perform, you're so friggen talented I can't even deal.

@hierophunk I am so grateful Pride introduced us last year and how our connection has blossomed especially over these past few months. I really appreciate your friendship 🥹

And @wuzzosworld you literally emanate a youthfulness and whimsy that naturally brings out my inner child and I hope you know how sweet your effect on people is and how incredible you are for that 🫶

Today I'm 75 days 🍃 free and so grateful for this clarity. My body is still adjusting to its new normal and I'm sure I'll be in this phase for quite some time. But the hardest part is over, it's just maintenance at this point 🖤 if I can do it, you can do it 🫶

It's Sunday Funday at @futureforestfestival, you're roaming mindlessly and begin to hear alluring sounds in the distance... You follow the trail of bass and end up at WRMII's set at the Mushroom Stage 🪱🍄🔊

Thank you to all you beautiful humans & creatures that came to eat dirt with me in the forest 🫠

This set was the result of countless hours of hard work and love poured into every track selection. I shed so many tears of gratitude as soon as I stepped off the stage. I love you so much Future Fam 🖤🫶

@futureforestfestival was so good this year!! I was nervous knowing I was going in 100% sober this year (today I'm 69 days cannabis free, nice.) but even in the hard moments I felt so seen and supported and I feel like I really met the best version of myself.

Hi me, nice to see you, I'm so proud of you.

Had sweet moments with friends, got to meet artists I look up to and played the best set of my life. Thank you so much to those who came out and got dirty with me ✨

Until next year.... taken in Future Forest by @wrmiidubs

Rave Chewelry by yours truly will be once again available at @futureforestfestival by our official retailer, @bassbusterz !

Price drops on most!

Rave Chewelry are food-grade silicone Kandi & accessories, great for fidgeting, tense jaw or teeth grinding, replacing chewing harmful plastic, your fingers or goopy gum. Can alleviate dance floor anxiety (something to do with your hands!) while looking adult and perfect for raves and festivals.

Some important information to note:
- while the beads are very strong, they're not indestructible. The smaller the bead, the less structural integrity it has.
- for heavy chewers, I recommend the pendants as they are the strongest.
- please wash your chewelry before and after use.
- please chew responsibly! While our necklaces are knotted between each bead to reduce risk, use caution and take care of your pieces 🖤 your chewelry can last YEARS!

Special Future Forest pricing:

Future Forest beaded necklace: $15
Bracelets: $25
Assorted beaded necklaces: $25 unless otherwise marked
Pens & keychains: $15
Pendants: $30

While supplies last! taken in Future Forest by @wrmiidubs

I am SO PROUD OF MYSELF!!! 😭
It hasn't been easy, it's still not easy. I still have so many "firsts" to encounter...
But no one ever said it would be simple.

While I do not doubt that 🍃 can have amazing benefits for a LOT of people, it really can be harmful. I felt it deep in my soul for years. Smøke, spiral, smøke, spiral. All day every day.

My executive function has improved significantly. Conflict resolution improved. emotional reactions are significantly less. PTSD symptoms extremely reduced. The list goes on.

If you're also on your sober journey, I'm so friggin proud of you too.

And if you're not, there's no judgement. This journey has been very personal and specific to me and my own needs. 🖤

Have wonderful days everyone and I'll see you at @futureforestfestival taken in Garrison Grounds by @wrmiidubs

I know there's other people out there in the same position as me this year - have never experienced a festival season without súbstancës of any kind. I know it's possible, but for those seasoned sober ravers, what are your survival tips? Especially since it's quite common for 🍃 not being included in the definition of "sober" for a lot of resources.

Share your best tips to make the most of the festivals 💪

I'm 10 months 🍷 free, and am exactly 33 days 🍃 free, and trying to become the best version of myself.

(I'd love to make a reel on my experience quitting a life-long 🍃 addĩctïon if anyone would be interested in that) taken in Halifax, Nova Scotia by @wrmiidubs
