Honestly, if you followed me around for a week, you’d probably think I was living ten different lives.

One day I’m speaking on a stage.

The next I’m dancing in a wig at a Fun Side Club event.

Then I’m recording a podcast, writing my book, planning community events, creating content, or chasing my toddler around the house.

For a long time, I thought I needed to choose.

Should I just be the speaker?

The coach?

The mom?

The creator?

The entrepreneur?

The truth is… every time I tried to fit myself into one box, I felt like I was leaving pieces of myself behind.

These days you’ll usually find me speaking on stages, creating something, building community through The Fun Side Club, or chasing my toddler around with a coffee in hand.

Turns out, none of those are different lives.

They’re all pieces of the same one.

And every piece points back to the same thing:

Helping people create more joy.
More confidence.
More connection.
And a little more magic in their everyday lives.

I started truly living my life when I stopped worrying so damn much about what other people thought of me.

I realized that no matter WHAT I did, someone was going to have an opinion about it.

Someone would disagree. Someone wouldn’t understand. Someone would think I was doing too much, or not enough.

And for so long, I let the possibility of someone else’s disapproval hold me back from actually LIVING.

But once I started letting that go?

I started going places I wanted to go, even if I didn’t know a single person there.

I started hosting events, even when I was terrified no one would show up.

I started raising my kid in ways that felt right for our family, even when other people had PLENTY to say about it. (Cough cough, extended breastfeeding, cough cough 😂)

And you know what?

People still have opinions. I’m sure they always will.

But I’ve realized I don’t have to make their opinions my problem.

Because at the end of the day, they’re not the ones who have to live my life. I am.

And I’d much rather look back on a life I actually LIVED than one I spent trying to make everyone else comfortable.

48 hours before this I was camping on a mountain with moms & toddlers 🌞 ...then I got a front row seat at @cltfashionweek & just said yes ✨
Nails done in the Uber (they turned out GREAT, thank you very much) Styled in the Clofus by my girl @shopaloraeden 🫶🏼 go shop, her stuff is bold & I’m obsessed Cheered like CRAZY for @make.mad.moves on that runway 💃🏻 & so grateful for my @thefunsideclub girlies 🌈

I’ve changed since I was last here. Hopefully, you have too ♡

The last time I said “I’m back” on this podcast, I proceeded to ghost you for 2.5 years. 😂

I wanted so badly to come back. I tried to come back.

But looking back, I think I still had a lot of shedding to do.

I spent a lot of that time trying to get back to who I was before. Before motherhood. Before my priorities changed. Before I started questioning what I actually wanted. Before I changed my mind about things I thought I had figured out.

Eventually I stopped trying to get back to her.

I gave myself enough space to hear myself again.

And somewhere in that space, I realized the silence wasn’t a failure. It was a reintroduction.

I’m coming back slightly evolved, still super messy, and more myself than I’ve ever been.

And Confidently Uncomfortable has evolved with me.

This season isn’t about becoming some perfectly confident version of yourself. It’s about falling in love with the life you’re living while still having the audacity to dream bigger. Letting yourself change. Pivot. Outgrow old versions of yourself. Get more connected to who you are, to each other, and to what matters most.

Confidence is the fruit. Connection is the root.

And we have a LOT to catch up on.

So I decided not to ease you back in. 😂 Four episodes of Season 3 are officially live TODAY.

And there mayyyy be two pretty big announcements hiding in there that I’ve somehow managed to keep from you. 👀

I used to share my dreams and what I was working on with literally everyone.

Then I’ve realized not everyone deserves access to all of you. Some things are allowed to just be yours for a while.

That said… I do share a lot more of the messy BTS, half-formed ideas, what I’m building, and what I’m learning inside THE CONFIDENTIAL, my weekly newsletter.
