show day!! Im slightly bummed, I wish I would have captured more pics & vids to encapsulate how much I appreciated moments from the weekend, it kinda felt like a blur, but I’m thankful for every lesson and blessing coming from this prep and this past show weekend. Ive learned it’s important for me post show to step away from a competitive mindset for a few days and give myself time to be present with people I love, reflecting on nonathletic wins, growth and experiences before shifting focus to improving the package…

This weekend felt full circle. A year ago I was in the audience, the first show i ever watched and truly had no idea how much this sport would give me over the past year.

It’s an honor to share stage with women of different backgrounds and stories, all bringing discipline and heart to the package showcased on stage, pushing each other to be better. This community is so cool.

I am so grateful for my circle. Supporting me physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, holding me to a higher standard in all areas of life and showing up in ways that make it possible for me.

Left this weekend with a full heart ❤️ … and a competitive fire heading into these next few weeks

If abs are made in the kitchen, I’ll have whatever @yayizzll is having. 😂

Although judging by these photos, I’m pretty sure it’s 97% tilapia and asparagus, with the occasional cheat meal of…egg whites. 😭💀

Absolutely unreal discipline. 👏🔥

Grateful for everything this prep built. The beauty of this season can be difficult to fully recognize while living in the middle of it. Every moment invited opportunities to learn, grow, push the edge and show up with a little more love, presence, courage, & vulnerability. Exactly where we need to be.

This season qualified for the next…

I had the pleasure of shooting with Yaya Simmons @yayizzll before, so I was ecstatic when she came back—this time for a couples shoot with fellow elite bodybuilder Sebastian Garcia @thesebastiangarcia 🔥

I already knew they were both phenomenal athletes. What I was not prepared for was just how absurdly aesthetic—and downright white-hot—these two would be together. I carry liability insurance at the studio, but I was still low-key concerned they might burn the place down with shots like these. 😅

In all seriousness, photographing two people with this combination of looks, physiques, and effortless chemistry is every photographer’s dream. I’m incredibly grateful to both of them for trusting me to capture it—and especially to Yaya for returning for another shoot and absolutely knocking it out of the park for a second time. 🖤

These two are enormously talented, and let’s just say that if the stars remain aligned, there may be some pro cards in the cards for both of them in the very near future. 👀 Follow @yayizzll and @thesebastiangarcia to see what happens—and assuming your phone screen hasn’t already melted, prepare for many more photos from this shoot. 🔥🔥🔥
