My biggest floor painting so far, a 12 × 18 metre carpet painted on the terrace of The Muskator in Riesa for @ibug.art 2026 💫

One thing I’ve realised at iBUG is that, when it comes to making art, sometimes all you really need is a supportive environment and people who trust you to do what you do.

At a time when freedom of expression feels more important than ever, I really valued having the space at iBUG to experiment, make mistakes, follow my ideas, and simply enjoy the process of making.

Thank you Martin, Christine, and the entire iBUG team for the time, care, and dedication you put into creating this space and bringing artists together💫

Thank you @elbland_kunsthalle for the permission and the openness of my creative approach for the terrace 🫶🏼

And thank you to everyone I met, painted alongside, talked with, and shared this experience with.

Really grateful to have been part of @ibug.art 2026 ❤️

My first big wall mural — on a massive building in Chennai, India — with @startindia.
This was where it all started. The first time I painted something this large, this public, this full of meaning. Looking back, this wall opened the door to so many more. And for that, I’m endlessly grateful.

It took us 8 days to finish, painting around 5 hours a day — because the Chennai heat was no joke. But every day was filled with joy. School kids would run to us after class, asking what color we were using next, what we were painting. One boy came almost daily — he told me he wanted to be an artist. He even asked to keep the sketch we taped inside the lift, and I gave it to him as a little souvenir.

The local community welcomed us so warmly — with food, stories, smiles, and sometimes even paintbrushes. I arrived as a stranger, but I left feeling like I had found a second home.

I cried when we left. That mural wasn’t just a project — it was the start of something bigger than I ever imagined. taken in Chennai,Tamilnadu by @yessiow

Meet “Daydreamer” ☁️💙
My very first inflatable artwork 🥹

For years, I’ve dreamed of seeing one of my characters come to life at this scale. It always felt like one of those ideas that only existed in my sketchbook. Seeing it standing here now feels surreal.

This project means so much to me. Not only is it my first inflatable installation, but having it debut in Brussels makes it even more special.

It all started when @aufondthierry asked me what my dream project would be in the coming years. Without hesitation, I answered, “An inflatable artwork.”

A few years later, that conversation became reality.

Thank you so much for believing in this idea from the very beginning, taking a chance on it, and making it happen. What started as a small dream in my sketchbook has now become something we created together @aufoundthierry @allaboutth1ngs 💫

A big thank you as well to @manwho_le_gaki @brusselsmajorevents for making it possible to install Daydreamer at @plaisirsdete 🚤

And thank you, @jules_cesure , for capturing these moments so beautifully 🥹❤️

If you’re in Brussels, you can visit Daydreamer at Zomerkaai (Akenkaai) from 2 to 19 July. I hope she brings a little joy, curiosity, and a moment to daydream to everyone who passes by 💙 taken in Brussels, Belgium by @yessiow

A little look at my latest collaboration with @giordanoid for their #OneIndonesia “Light It Up” campaign. ❤️

I created an original artwork for the campaign, inspired by a generation that keeps moving forward, embracing individuality, creativity, and the courage to take the next step.

You can now spot my artwork across Giordano stores around Indonesia, and there’s also a special pop-up at Sarinah, Jakarta, where you can customise your own Giordano pieces with patches and other details from the campaign.

It’s always exciting to see my illustration become something people enjoy.

A big thank you to @mahavisual for taking care of this project 💙🫶🏼🌸

Thank you @giordanoid, Mbak Eva and team for having me be part of #OneIndonesia. 🇮🇩❤️

Three days ago was the last day of Daydreamer in Brussels.

Thank you for every kind message, every comment, every visit, every photo you’ve shared, and for supporting not only this project but my work over the years.

As artists, we spend so much time imagining things that don’t exist yet. We carry ideas around for months, sometimes years, hoping that one day they’ll become real. To see those ideas come to life, be seen, be understood, and be embraced by so many people is something I’ll never take for granted.

I’m incredibly grateful to be surrounded by such amazing people, both online and offline, who continue to encourage me to keep making, experimenting, and dreaming a little bigger.

Thank you for believing in my work 🌸

There will definitely be more installations in the future. Until then, we keep dreaming 😊❤️

Can’t believe she has been there for a week now 🥹❤️

She sits peacefully by the water, watching boats drift by, people strolling along the promenade, and friends gathering for a drink. In the middle of the city’s constant movement, she reminds us that it’s okay to slow down, take a seat, and simply let our minds wander for a while.

Creating my very first inflatable artwork has been one of the most meaningful milestones in my artistic journey. I’ll always be grateful to @allaboutth1ngs and @brusselsmajorevents for believing in this project and giving me the opportunity to bring Daydreamer to life in the heart of Brussels.

It has been an incredible honor to represent Indonesia through my work and to see so many people stop, smile, take photos, or simply pause to spend a few moments with her.

If you’re in Brussels, you still have one more week to visit Daydreamer at @plaisirsdete . She’ll be waiting by the canal 💙

And a special thank you to @julescesure for beautifully capturing Daydreamer from above. These drone shots let me see the installation from a whole new perspective, and I’ll treasure them for a long time 🥹💫

I’ve always had a soft spot for blue skies, especially those bright, candy colored sunsets. Now I have one more reason to appreciate them, seeing a little piece of my art dancing in the sky 💫

When I was a kid, kite season was always something I looked forward to. I spent countless afternoons under the sun making kites with the neighborhood boys. Eventually, I started making my own designs and even sold them to many of my friends. Every evening, I couldn’t wait for the next day to come so we could fly them again. Watching something you built with your own hands catch the wind and soar into the sky was the best feeling.

Kites are a big part of Balinese culture. Every dry season, from around June to October, the skies across the island slowly fill with colorful kites. Local Balinese people spend months designing, building, and flying them, preparing for festivals and friendly competitions. It’s a tradition rooted in craftsmanship, teamwork, and a deep connection to the wind.

Although I painted kites before, but I had never actually made one as an adult. That changed after I painted the wall of a traditional kite workshop in Batuan back in April. Ever since, I couldn’t stop thinking about making one again.

With the help of Bu Wayan, I adapted my illustration to one of the kite frames available in her workshop. Her husband then used his years of experience to fine tune the structure and balance, turning my drawing into something that could truly fly.

Watching this kite leave the ground brought me straight back to those childhood afternoons. For a moment, it no longer belonged to my hands. It belonged to the sky.

Hopefully this is the first of many 🪁🪁❤️💫

The kite behind mine is called a Janggan, one of Bali’s most iconic traditional kite designs

Recognizable by its incredibly long tail, which can stretch tens or even hundreds of meters, the Janggan is inspired by the naga or dragon, a sacred figure in Balinese Hindu culture that symbolizes protection, balance, and the connection between the earthly and spiritual worlds 🌱

So excited for this year’s tour. Painting walls, meeting family and friends 💫💥

Stijn and I will be in Belgium from end of June possibly until October. We will be visiting Germany, and Türkiye for a couple of weeks.

I still have a few spots available for walls and collaboration projects during my time in the Schengen area.

If you have a wall or project in mind, feel free to send me an email 🕵️💫 by @yessiow
