From dreaming to achieving, my journey as a diplomat has been a whirlwind of emotions. The Best Diplomat Istanbul-Türkiye conference was a defining moment for me, where I put my diplomacy and negotiation skills to the test. And boy, I exceeded my own expectations! Being recognized as the outstanding negotiator among 55 nationalities and over 100 representatives was a humbling experience that reaffirmed my passion and dedication to this path. As I carry the knowledge and lessons learned from this incredible event, I am determined to make a difference for my beloved country, Nigeria. Diplomacy knows no boundaries, and I am ready to bridge the gaps and foster understanding on a global scale.

Nigeria is committed to promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment.

From our mothers, sisters, daughters, and wives, Nigerian women have played an essential role in building our nation. They have contributed to our economy, our culture, and our political landscape.

The strongest testimony of leadership is not what a leader says about himself, but what his record says about him. For over three years, I have preferred to let the work of the legislature, our institutional reforms and the impact of our constituency interventions speak for themselves. I have always believed that public service is about responsibility and results, not the pursuit of applause or publicity.

On Monday, November 2, 2026, I will make a special appearance in a nationally televised conversation, marking my first major televised media chat since assuming the speakership of the 10th House of Representatives.

Titled PARTNERSHIP THAT DELIVERS: THE TINUBU-ABBAS RECORD, the conversation will provide an opportunity to reflect on our legislative journey since June 2023, the achievements of the 10th Assembly and our partnership with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda.

I look forward to discussing the policies, projects, reforms and people-focused initiatives through which the Renewed Hope mandate is making its mark across Northern Nigeria, and indeed, our country. I believe leadership must be accountable, progress must be documented, and the people deserve to know what is being done in their name and for their benefit.

I invite you to join me for this important conversation.

Today, I had the privilege of joining my boss, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.D., GCON, as he received a delegation from Multi Faith Network US, led by Evangelist Bob Robert. The engagement centred on the importance of promoting religious tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and national unity across Nigeria. During the meeting, Mr Speaker reaffirmed the commitment of the House of Representatives, The People’s House, to fostering unity across ethnic and religious divides. He emphasised that mutual respect, tolerance, and grassroots engagement remain essential to building a more peaceful and inclusive society.

The delegation also shared its approach to strengthening interfaith relations through dialogue, community engagement, and collaborative projects that bring people of different religious backgrounds together. It was an insightful engagement and a reminder that our diversity should remain a source of strength, not division. Building a united Nigeria requires collective responsibility, mutual understanding, and respect for one another, regardless of faith or ethnicity.

Happy birthday to my dear aburo, David. ❤️

Today, I celebrate not just the man you are becoming, but the character you have consistently shown. In a world where loyalty can sometimes become conditional and respect can change with circumstances, you have remained true to yourself — respectful, dependable, and steadfast. Thank you for standing firm even when it may have been easier to stand elsewhere, for never allowing the noise around you to change your heart, and for showing that genuine loyalty does not need an audience or an announcement. Some things are simply understood, and I see you, I appreciate you, and I will never take it for granted.
Keep being the respectful, grounded and remarkable young man that you are. I am incredibly proud of you.To greater heights, bigger wins and a beautiful new chapter. ❤️🥂 @theadeyanju_gram @lagos_junction by @yetunde_gold
