An honest week in the life, back to school - first week of September edition, of what I worked as a newly freelance Yoga Instructor and History / Politics Tutor.

Perhaps it doesn’t look like I ‘work’ that many hours, but what is not shown is the prep for the lessons, the marketing & coordinating that goes on behind the scenes. My last day ‘off’ was 22nd August and at present I’m not ‘off’ again until 12th October (if I’m allowed to count my full weekend training this weekend - I reckon so!)

Additional realities - extra tutoring to prepare for exams and 7 of the yoga classes I taught were cover lessons. Freelance means no sick or holiday pay - wasn’t ideal teaching yoga with a very upset stomach 🙈 but I am LOVING every minute of it.

I’m so grateful for all of the opportunities to share both of my passions, and I’m really excited for all the things to come (although hopefully less stomach upsets - life with all the intolerances… IYKYK!!)
