Art, Creativity & Consciousness:
Private Art Coaching; w/ Art History, Archetypes, Shadow Work - on Zoom.
@carolesilverstein @carolesilversteinstudio

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I am currently offering a limited number of private one-on-one art sessions for artists and creative practitioners who are already in relationship with their work (in whatever state that may be). This includes visual artists, as well as writers, performers, musicians, therapists, and others who are moving toward visual art as a parallel or emerging practice. And who want to grow their potential & possibilities.

These sessions aren’t about instruction - they’re more like sitting together with the work - looking, listening, noticing patterns, tensions, and possibilities. A space to articulate what’s present, what feels alive, and what may want more time or care. I offer reflection, feedback, and context, drawing from visual art practices, art history, shadow work, archetypes, tools, and imaginal inquiry, always in response to what you and your work is asking. And attuned to the particular intelligence of your work.

Other things we may address include materials, processes, creating more flow in the studio, techniques, resources, and if desired, ways to share your work in the world.

Sessions are held on Zoom, with some in-person sessions in LA available. I work in short series as well as longer, ongoing engagements.

If this feels aligned, I’m happy to offer a 20 minute Zoom conversation to see if the work is a good fit. Email carole@carolesilverstein.com to schedule a conversation.

The world needs your gold and your light.

This Saturday Nov 16 at 11am! Join our small, private group to see the wonderful exhibition “Christina Ramberg: A Retrospective” at The UCLA Hammer Museum.

This one is extra special to me. Christina Ramberg was a very important teacher/mentor of mine when I was a 21 year old art student at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago. There has been a resurgence and interest in her work, which I am thrilled about. The first comprehensive show of her work in almost 30 years, she was a central figure in the contemporary Chicago art world, best known for her stylized paintings of fragmented female bodies. Recently shown at The Art Institute of Chicago. Join us to experience this powerful survey of her paintings, drawings, & quilts.

Intimate group. Conversational and rich - Sign up now. For more info & to RSVP to carole@carolesilverstein.com

Recently back from a magical Private Art Tour to Venice & Padua! So many treasures and experiences at the Venice Biennale @labiennale and the city of Venice. Also to see Giotto’s Scrovegni Chapel in Padua, with a surprise gift of stumbling upon a moving & powerful Yoko Ono installation at The Palace of Reason. @yokoono

Then on to NYC where the stellar Morandi exhibit was at @galleriamattiadeluca on the Upper East Side. And a day at the Met @metmuseum where we could see the following shows: Siena: The Rise of Painting; Mandala; and special stops in the Permanent Collection (Islamic & SouthEast Asian Art Galleries, European Painting).

I also snuck in a visit to Washington DC where my son is, to celebrate his 21st birthday. What an October!!
